Yep, to me the ref had a good game (cue abuse ), the critical bad decisions were down to lack of support from his lino. That guy needs investigating or given gardening leave for a while. Not up to the job.

Dyke was there. He should be getting the FA to look into the quality of referees and linesmen.

The ref and the linesman (Brentford 2nd half attacking side) were appalling, and that's why games start to disintegrate as players get frustrated with a sequence of poor decisions.
This game was a very high profile critical match, and we get amateurs refereeing it.

The match could have turned on the clear cut Saville penalty shout, and us having to play 10 men against 12 for the 2nd half.

I don't recall ever having seen a more biased, utterly disgraceful referee in all my years of watching football and he certainly had to go a bloody long way to achieve that. The clown could have cost us promotion and it says a great deal about this side that they still got the result they deserved despite his best efforts. 21 fouls against us, a nailed on penalty denied, a complete joke!
