Warburton was having a right go at the 4th official as was Weir. I've never seen him do that before. It's always said that the mark of a good ref is that you don't notice them. Madley got himself noticed alright.

Its funny when we pay our money to watch football and our club then end up watching the referee show. Madley was awful when we played orient away last season and he's not done himself any favours today. He's throwing cards at our players like its valentines day but for far worse/cynical challenges were walking away without a slap on the wrist. From my position it was definitely a penalty and a sending off so I won't slate him for that but the rest of the game he embarrassed himself with his one-sidedness and bias, the man is a glory hogging narcissist and he needs to be retrained and kept our from Brentford games for the rest of his shameful career. It seems like we are being sour about him but even BBC Radio were slating him, its staggering that the FA allows for such gross incompetence, I can allow for human error but not sheer selfish stupidity.

Minimal contact between Craig and Donaldson. Not going to complain too much. Our pen claim was much clearer - he doesn't seem to want to give us anything.

Poor performance by the ref and we should have a penalty in the second half. You can just see from their full back's body language that he thought he was in trouble. Once again, the ref is handing out cards to us like Patrick Bateman whilst more cynical challenges by Brum were waved away with a smile and a wink. Appaling

Worst set of officials in a few years I've seen in a few years at GP.

B'ham pen was a soft one. Red card harsh.

Pritchard gets lumped six foot in the air and gets a free kick awarded against him. :eek:

1st half stoppage time B'ham free kick. Ref paces 10 yards. See's that our wall is eleven yards back and drags them one yard forward. Never seen that happen before. :confused:

Stonewall pen for the foul on Bidwell in the second half. Ref not up with play, and assistant on wrong side of pitch looking through players to give it. :banghead:

I sometimes think the footballing authorities promote referees based on how much bile gets aimed at them on social media: "I see Madley's driven Brentford fans into a rage. Can't be because he's a terrible refereee, must be because his correct decisions angered the home support. Keep an eye on this man."
