This is great news for BFC and it has seemed a long week whilst we waited to see what he was going to do.

We must not get carried away with expecting too much from him because you have to put into context his age and relative lack of experience but he has already given us a taste of what he can bring to the team and as long as he continues to do what he's already done he will at the very least be a good investment for the club in the future.

To me what is just as important is the fact that we have attracted a desired player to the club and not lost out to a team or teams that on the face of we shouldnt be losing out to. That may be purely down to geographical reasons for RD but it is still a sign (along with recent form and the other occurences this week) that BFC have made giant strides and this can surely only help to make us more attractive to players so that we don't end up only being able to get players that others don't want.

This is as good a signing as we have made for many years .Dickson is such a good prospect.
as good a left back as a certain Martin Grainger we use to have in our team

I can see Ryan being a nice little earner for us.

If we can carry on these types of signings, I can see the future of the club picking up. Even if we don`t sneak into the play-offs this season, next season he will be even better.

Why? A director disclosed all the contract end dates on here early last week. It's not confidential information and those in the game know which players deals are coming to an end if they are interested.

Only Brown remains from Butchers reign (Moore having gone back). On the day the England U21 coach came to watch Hamer (Chester away), Butcher callously dropped him. Thankfully order has now been restored and there for all to witness.
