Ryan Fredericks

Is he injured? Seems to have disappeared after a promising performance and was surprised he didn't get a run in the JPT. Also not in the development squad v QPR.

Ryan Fredericks

Ryan Fredericks has returned to Spurs.

Ryan Fredericks

Really how do you know?? Such a weird loan signing.. as soon as he started to impress, he disappeared!

Ryan Fredericks

Couldn't work out why we had him in the first place. Between Forshaw, Dallas, Forrester and Saunders I thought we had enough cover.

think he was brought in to cover right back as well.

Erm..... It's on the clubs website

Once he settled in you could tell that he is a proper footballer who will have a very decent career.

Shame that he didn't feature more often and I can only assume that's the reason for his recall.

At least hs salary can go back into the budget pot for reallocation when needed ie for a 4th striker

Much as I'm disappointed to see him go , we are now very well covered in midfield and Dallas has come through as well. As has been said, it gives us some budget leeway too.

Ryan Fredericks

O/S says THFC exercised their right to recall him. Was that because we weren't playing him or because they need him?

Probably a bit of diplomacy in the wording. I doubt they'd have agreed a season loan if they needed him and they aren't exactly light squad wise.

Ryan Fredericks

I'd imagine this means Uwe wants a 4th striker and was told to find the money so in good old footballing terms Spurs 'recalled' him. Good news as a 4th striker is more of a necessity

:imwith: This looks as though it is to free up funds and perhaps is a sign that Dallas is a little bit closer to the first team than expected.

Ryan Fredericks

Shame really because I liked what I saw of him yet he never really got the chance. I can't see us getting a 4th striker in personally because I have a gut feeling our budget is probably already taken up.

Ryan Fredericks

I only saw him briefly, and he looked promising, but with Dallas getting a more regular spot on the bench, there were probably fewer chances for him if we want a balanced set of subs. In that case, probably best for all that he goes back - he may well get loaned out to someone else before long

Ryan Fredericks

Disappointed to see him go. Looked very impressive in his cameo at GP earlier in the season and saw him being a dangerous player for us in the second half of the season when more injureies/suspensions and weary legs take their toll.

However, Spurs sent him out to get playing time, which he hasn't really had with us, and with the strength we have in his position he looks unlikely to feature too much either, especially if Dallas is impressing too. I was very surprised he never got a chance to prove himself in the JPT game. For that reason I think the recall was triggered by Spurs not us (don't think he was on an extortionate salary, and the signature of Spencer is not breaking the bank either).

I hope this hasn't damaged any working relationship we may have had with Spurs, they have a lot of promising young players we should be keeping an eye on.

Ryan Fredericks

Thought he looked good when he came on but I'm not complaining as hopefully it will give more of our own players a chance

Ryan Fredericks

Looked quality to me, shame he's gone

Ryan Fredericks

Any promising pro of his ilk at a top Prem club will be on a pretty decent wage and I suspect that the saving we are making is not inconsiderable and was money wasted given his lack of game time.

Hopefully it can be put back in the war chest or better still used to help fund the premium striker we all crave.

Suspect some top level diplomacy required with spurs as irrespective of who recalled who,the loan hasn't turned out well for anyone as they probably expected Ryan to play a darn site more than he did and this could jeopardise potential dealings with them in the future.

Ryan Fredericks

Maybe he hasn't been given his chance at Brentford, but I would defy anybody to put him in, in front of Forrester and Forshaw. The midfield or wingbacks is not a position where we are struggling as a club other than cover

Ryan Fredericks

Who cares about spurs they haven't exactly supplied great loanees in the past especially that muppet who broke gary smiths leg in training

Didn't he come because of the friendship between Uwe and Stefen Freund the Spurs u21 manager? So hopefully not

Ryan Fredericks

Strange one, good last performance and then vanished.
Oh well thanks Ryan

Ryan Fredericks

I feel this is more of a reflection of how well our younger players are performing than anything else.

I suse4pct he will quickly pop up on loan somewhere else very quickly.

Ryan Fredericks

I know it's not of much relevance, but he's quality on FIFA. My mate didn't have a chance against his mazy runs.

Ryan Fredericks

damm, looked vey good going forward , shame to see him go.

I totally agree, but with the contracted players we have, we just didn't need him, and I am not too sure why we got him in the first place. Good luck to the lad, though, he should do well.

I predict Dallas will play an increasing role in the second half of the season. He's ready to play and has a hunger about him.

Ryan Fredericks

What a shame he wasn't given more of a chance, but if he isn't going to get in the team then its best he goes elsewhere, we have enough bench warmers already.
