Some hilarious replies from people pointing out that samosas cost a lot less when bought from an Indian shop elsewhere in England, in the frozen section of a cheap supermarket or even in India. Very astute understanding of supply and demand there, and quality vs. price. The long list of comments on this thread asking for more outlets shows you they are doing something right.

Had my third visit to the dug out samosa counter on Saturday, I will be back again very soon.

You are getting some good traffic from the twitter link? Footy scran have 10% more followers than @BrentfordFC! shows the mad stuff people like to debate online

Or do you just not like the website very much.
The online orders page looks a bit bare.

Yes amongst us Punjabi's there were seen as one of the bests for Samosas.
However the original owners and caterers have recently sold up and thus the people running it now haven't kept up to the standards.
And your pricing is right although many wouldn't believe you but that's generally the price they are.
These caterers who bring it into Brentford don't have high costs, rates and staff like restaurants like Shahanshah.
They are very small unit operations - off the back road operations and thus can't see how on earth they can charge £2 a samosa.
Daylight robbery and as a Punjabi am offended at their pricing.

Oh man you mean the Guy with the wig has left North Rd? BY FAR THE BEST SAMOSA in Southall for the last 40:years. I won’t make the trip their now if they have changed hands. Used to love the chutney in foam cup too

To be fair we’ve had a few on here saying their wife makes better, cheaper samosas at home.

Only 5 home games to go.

Yes - we are.
North Stand only till half time.
Dugout bar before, during and after game.
Man City vs Liverpool is on at 4.30 (hope we have some left as we’ve sold out quite early for the last few games)

Will be at the North tomorrow but not sure I can justify in this economic climate 600 rupees for 3 samosas :D but those that I know have tried it loved it so got for it ....

Ate chicken and lamb samosas yesterday. Totally ok, nothing spectacular but good snack before the match.

In my match feedback survey for Sat, for the question that asked for one suggestion to improve the match day experience I said having the samosas team in the West Stand next season. Got to tackle those key club issues :) ;)
