Agree 100%. I know it's great football but Barca bore the life out of me. I want to see the game stretched not just endless 5-10 yd passes. And the fact its on ITV with that dreadful commentator - boooring!

Presumably with the weather improving they'll be ok from the weekend. It's getting to a point where they won't be able to fit all the games in otherwise. I suppose they could play Sat, Tues, Thurs Saturday, but that will affect too many teams playing more regularly than they want to.

If it hadn't been for the 10 point deduction and the fact they play their home games in front of about 38 fans at Northampton I think Cov would have been a real threat this season.

I happen to enjoy watching Barcelona play but the in thing these days is that its boring by all accounts.Thought their passing, touch and general movement was superb.

Agreed. I can marvel at the technical ability but they sterilise the game IMO. I may be in the minority but I thought City were too preoccupied with containing Barca and would've been better served by committing a few more into attack and testing Barca's defensive frailties. Bayern showed that pace, power and offensive quality could be Barca's undoing and I think City ordinarily play in a very similar style.

I think a big part of their game is pressurising when the opponents have the ball and there is plenty of pace in the side it's just that they have so much possession admittedly this results in short passes while they look for openings.When they do break through defences it's a result of great one touch passing at pace.Dare I say a bit like our second goal Saturday:bound:
