Scott Barron

what a top lad at the player do

Scott Barron

Never fit .
Wonder why we signed him.probably a decent player in there

Scott Barron

Good luck Scott.

Scott Barron

Going to be missed by Bees Player listeners.

He joined the same time as Craig and both were first teamers. Just never worked out for us. Win some lose some. Think he went to Vegas though, so got a good sendoff!

Scott Barron

Obviously one of those transfers that didn't work for the player or club. A bit like Will Grigg really.

Scott Barron

..........brought in when there was doubt over Bidwell returning............good luck to him..............

Scott Barron

Who knows what could have been had he been fit and Bidwell had not signed? I think he would have been a decent enough LB for us. Shows us how lucky we have been to have a pretty much ever present JB. Solid pro who should find a L1-2 club.

Scott Barron

Don't think Barron was ever good enough for what was happening at GP. A similar type of player to Woodman. Will do a job for a mid to lower League 1 side, or a stronger League 2 club going for promotion. Injuries didn't help his chances either.

Best of luck to him.

Scott Barron

Was on Talksport between 5 & 5.30 today due to his Hip injury has retired from football on medical advice 28 years old.
Happened in JPT game at Southend December 2012
Good luck to him

Scott Barron

That is very bad luck, he had a few years left at lower league for sure. Hope he sorts himself out career wise.

Scott Barron

Very sad to hear. He's a genuinely nice guy and I'd wished he would get another contract, so this explains it. I really hope he has good insurance cover and wish him the best.

Scott Barron

............good luck to the fella in whatever he decides to do............

Agree 100 percent top bloke seemed to be a well respected member of the squad

:imwith:

Scott Barron

Very sad news, top pro and apparently a top bloke too

Scott Barron

Gutted for the fella. Hope he can find a role within the game.

Scott Barron

Seemed a decent bloke. Despite a tough time with us he never complained or sulked about it. Did some great work with beesplayer too. Would be nice if he came over and did a couple of commentaries this season.

Scott Barron

Shame, gutted for him. Nicenbloke and bit of a comedian lol but seriously never good to have to retire due to injury, hope he can stay in the game or find something else to get into. Never worked out for us but did a job when called upon in a midfield position.
Good luck Scott!

Scott Barron

Sad news.

Hope he finds something in the game.

Scott Barron

Always came across as a decent fella and another who seemed to really enjoy being a Brentford player. Good luck with the next chapter of your journey Scott and wish you well for the future....

Scott Barron

I thought that a man losing his career was far more important than all the Forshaw transfer speculation so my latest blog pays tribute to Scott Barron. Hope you enjoy it.

The End Of The Day - Remembering a good pro.http://wp.me/p4Ksl8-eq Scott Barron forced to retire through injury

Scott Barron

It'd be a really nice gesture if we could find a role for him at GP. Must be a really difficult time for him. The players seem to love him and he'd be great to have around the dressing room.

Scott Barron

Sad news, seemed like a really nice bloke. I know there is no room for sentiment in football but he seemed an intelligent guy, maybe a role for him at the club still?

Scott Barron

I was fortunate enough to meet Scott at the BFC golf day and he was a genuinely nice bloke. Gutted for him that he's been forced to retire.

Scott Barron

Sad news, top bloke, it was a shame it didn't really work out for him on the pitch but always came across as a top professional and a really nice bloke, always had time for the fans, was nice to see him at Barnet supporting the lads, I hope he stays in the game, good luck Scott

Scott Barron

Very sad news for a top bloke.

He was at Barnet and kindly allowed my grandson and his friend to be photographed with him.

Good luck for the future.

Scott Barron

Sad news. Cruel game football at times. If you read this Scott hope everything goes well for you.

Scott Barron

gutted for you / him ..... a great shame.

seemed a very good bloke and had been a really decent player before his hip injury.

i am sure he will always be welcome at GP and our new ground too.

Scott Barron

Real shame Seemed like a good lad and well liked by rest of squad.

Wish him all the best in the future.

Scott Barron

Know he was well liked by the players and was the social secretary. Shame his career is finished and really hope he gets fixed up and is able to stay in the game if he wants to.

Scott Barron

This was the beginning of the end for him, when he went in for an operation to correct the problem. I guess for him it was a sad case of retire or put yourself in a position where you might need a new hip later in life.

Scott Barron

Sad news, its never nice when someone's career is cut short and its worse when its one of the genuinely decent guys. All the best to him, he seems the type of lad that will still be able to carve out a career in the game in some shape or form.

Scott Barron

Hope he can stay in football in some capacity, if that's what he wishes to do, or he's successful in what ever career path he takes. Seems to be one of the good guys. :sorted:

Scott Barron

Sad news' but he was a pro footballer for a good decade- how many of us can say that!!? Good luck to him in life

Scott Barron

listened to his interview, seems to have an agency job lined up helping pros and media work.unfortunate for him how things turned out but is definitely in the top 50 of least value for money signings

Any need for the dig? I gave him loads of grief when playing as didn't rate but he was well liked and popular around the club. Must be devastated he's had to retire through injury, what good gained by having a pop?

Thanks for the excellent write-up on your blog, I didn't know much about him before, sounds like a guy with the right attributes and I hope he does well in his career/ life moving forward.
