Should Scott Go?

Like that blogging director was saying, what set Andy Scott apart from the other managers he saw in his time with us is the authority over the players.
Sheff Utd have to appoint someone who can have authority over their players, and although yes he has played for them, are those players going to be impressed with him all that much? I'm not sure. I reckon Sheff Utd will want a bigger name.

Should Scott Go?

Was convinced that we would do well this season.....my belief was truly tested as our sh*t spell went on and on. But what a turnaround, its a tight division this year so I still have a realistic grip (I think), we should be going for a play-off place and if we manage better then great.
You cant deny that AS has now dealt with two major slumps in form both this year and last; that does take a good deal of dedication to his current post and a good pair of balls!

Should Scott Go?

I will happily take back what I have said about him as a manager.

I'm taking everything back now. Beating Southampton has made my day, week, month, year, life.

I love you Brentford :love2:

Should Scott Go?

Vacancy at Sheff Utd too...........

Just bumped into AS at Watford Gap southbound having a coffee with two sugars - He seemed quite happy with himself.

Should Scott Go?

AS sailed really really close to disaster a couple of months ago, but now that we are playing football not hoofball, we are looking like the team i thought we would be at the beginning of the season. Whatever the reason for the change, the results are begining to show the wisdom of tippy tappy versus hoofing. I dont know if "fans pressure" prompted it - i doubt it: AS' streak of arrogance shows that he probably wouldn't even countenance change for that reason - but whatever it is, it worked. Now, perhaps we can get on with getting into the play-offs, a task for which this group of players is easily suited.

Should Scott Go?

AS OUT especially now!!! lol

The man has done well to turn things around roll on the next few fixtures we could be at leat top 3!!!

it was bad, worse than that at points but no time was given so early into a season, if we were bottom and lagging behing with points id have been on his back a bit more,it was just too early.but there are those on here that had it in for him before season started and have created these on going threads

Should Scott Go?

Let`s close this thread once and for all, AS has surely proved his worth now. All those true Bees supporters that were getting off on the back of a bad run, go and get f@+cked. AS doesn`t look at this pointless crap on here, he gets on with the job in hand. It was pointed out on the weekend how far we`ve come in 3 years under him, from 4th bottom of league 2, to beating Southampton away.
We`ve had a great season so far with the calibre of the teams we`ve beaten and long may it continue.AS`s continued way of handling players may sometimes seem odd or even arrogant but in the end he somehow gets it right, just look at Richard Lee who people were downing off the back of a friendly. Well done Andy, Terry and all the squad.

So why hasn't the thread been closed now?

Should Scott Go?

Because. He will lose again this season. At that point the completely and utterly schizophrenic GPG will be baying for his blood rather than worrying about him going to sheffield.

Another interesting point is that when somebody comments on a thread to say 'close this thread' there are two effects, 1 is that the GPG plays the song 'killing in the name of' in the PA system to all the mods and 2 you bump the thread to the top of the forum.

I think you'll find the chief culprit for making noises about RL was erm ...oh yes, Andy Scott. It took Hamer (good keeper but bad timekeeper) to make a non-football related mistake for AS to put him between the sticks. Playing a rookie in the friendlies and getting Hamer in on loan after the rookie had a hard time at Carlisle wasn't down to the fans.

Should Scott Go?

If the thread stays there will be trouble.
But If it goes there will be double.

I usually put on The Hollies or The Moody Blues, depending how we did on Saturday .

Should Scott Go?

No need for the next line. Happy to leave it there :sorted:.

Should Scott Go?

I'd budgeted the rest of my working day rewriting clash songs to be about andy

I'll have to work now

Should Scott Go?

Kyel Reid don't like him
Drop the keeper, drop the keeper
