solution to BFCs problems

If MA thought Willock was good enough to replace DJ, Why isnt he signing him up for that load of crap with the silly name MKDons
Best thing for BFC is to go into administration then hopefully some big fat rich business will step in and save us and inject millions into the club. Look at this way. Prime site in west london. Easy access from the M4. Close to heathrow.
i dont suppose i will live long enough to see BFC in the championship. There again i dont suppose my grandchildren will either

Can I have some of what you're on? I'm sure a big fat rich business will be only too happy to step in and buy Griffin Park for a knock down price and leave us groundless, but the idea that anyone is going to inject millions into the club is delusional. Sadly, it is this delusional belief that persists among Brentford supporters that holds us back.

The big fat business may well be the one who we owe £1m to who can then get his grubby paws on Griffin Park at last.

Why is it delusional to have hope ed?


Without a big cash injection you as well as the rest of us know where our club is going.

Last night I stated (tongue in cheek) "perhaps we should give administration a go." Most teams seem to come out of it in better shape, QPR being the best (worst?) example of that. The problem is, the job of the administrators is to sort out the books - at whatever cost. The cost to us would be losing Griffin Park for well below its value.

The alternative to administration would be to sell the ground ourselves, but that would be none too popular either, but at least we would get the price we want for it.

Administration may be a nice soft option for some clubs, assuming they can claw back the 10 point penalty imposed these days, but it wouldn't work for us.

:eek: ..................it's quite strangely funny, Les, how we sometimes seem to think along the same, or at least similar, lines..........

:idea: change the blokes first/given/christian name to David, change the 'n' in the family/surname to a 'ck'.......and voila, a man who isn't really going any place in football right now, having been dumped by his country, and getting splinters in his arse from warming the bench at club level, contract up for renewal next summer but no club negotiations (is MA the new manager of RM.....?!), pockets as deep as you like, and no little soccer skill......he's even got his own academies all round the world which could act as feeders.......

maybe a little 'off-the-wall' but what's wrong with thinking 'outside the box' (and no, I'm not referring to Calum Willock in that last comment!)......and did I forget, he's almost a Londoner......................? :fishing:

.................biggest problem as I see it is, can we last out until next summer........?



..................oh yes, one last thing......shirt sales by the million, we could afford to spend our way into the Premiership on that income alone!
