yup ,then he easily gets shrugged off the ball which is given as a foul .Dallas takes the free kick him self which is a crap one and a team mate sticks out a leg in the box and gets a lucky goal . Messi ,you're safe mate .

I reckon mine and Bigbee's posts can be taken with a large dose of salt, I'm really looking forward to seeing what he has, slightly surprised that he wasn't picked up before on the evidence of that game on the box. A very forward thinking signing who has a bit of left wing in him, will there be room enough for Myles and him?

CRUSADERS boss Stephen Baxter believes the “sky is the limit” for Stuart Dallas after the midfielder agreed terms with Brentford yesterday.

Dallas has signed a pre-contract deal with The Bees to realise his dream of full-time football.

The 20-year-old will officially join the League One club in June – completing a rollercoaster couple of years.

Baxter snapped up the former Coagh United midfielder in the summer of 2010 after watching him impress against the Crues in an Irish Cup fixture the previous season.

Dallas’ first year in the Carling Premiership saw him crowned both Player and Young Player of the Year.

The impressive emergence had a host of clubs on the mainland monitoring his progress – with Brentford winning the race for the coveted youngster.

“I am thrilled for Stuart. he is such a lovely guy and when he came to Crusaders he was like a breath of fresh air,” Baxter said.

“I always said that Stuart would probably only be with us for one or two years and then he would be snapped up.

“Now I look forward to monitoring his progress on the mainland – but the sky is the limit for him.

“He is quality.”

Do you know anything about him? Quick [ Forster type], Big/strong/pace, Fox in the box, banged in a lot at what is, I assume, Conference- ish standard ???? I've no idea what we've got. If he's big and quick and knows where the goal is-then we can work on him.

to some extent however others from non-league have been thrown in the deep end with some success at about his age over the years. and several of the loanees have been younger this campaign.

Absolutely spot on. There's no quicker way of killing off talent than sending them off to some distant outpost to get the crap kicked out of them each week. Look at how young Rooney was when he first played in the Premiership. they need coaching and nurturing, not knackering them by playing every game but keeping them involved. I think Dallas, Reeves and Forrester should be in the squad from day 1 next season.
Good or great youngsters thrive on the challenge of playing against older players and they usually dont have any fear of trying something different.

I kinow that Northern Ireland are not the greatest internation side on the planet, but if he was considered mature enough to be selected for them I fail to see how he's not ready to play for us after a full pre season!

I know he didn't come up through non league but didn't Fergie send Beckham out on loan to PNE with a message to make sure he saw the physical side of life

Strange comparison, Sinton had played league football in this country and we knew what we getting in terms of standard? If I recommended a lad who'd scored 50+ goals in parks football it's impossible to say if he'd become the next Alan Shearer or Rob Peters as nothing to quantify how good. I certainly think he's worth a punt and trust in the management team who've picked up more good players than bad in my opinion.

For every Ian Wright there are plenty of Joe Omigie's!!!! Or in our case Bob Booker to a Joe Omigie.

Sinton was a different class and proved that. We were lucky to pick him up for so little.

I believe we need to give Dallas some latitude. It will be a big move for him both in football & life terms at 20yo & he will need time to adjust. I certainly wouldn't expect miracles from him in his first season (although I will always hope!!).

Sinton was, let's face it, a future England international, of outstanding quality, & had played for Cambridge for a couple of years as a mid-field playmaker. If Dallas turns out to be anywhere near as good we will be well satisfied, but I think he will need more time than Andy to make his mark at BFC.

Just returned from a holiday in cyprus and confidently ended up chatting to the cousin of stuart dallas. He wasn't aware of his move to brentford, because the last time he had spoken to him he was talking about having a trial with glasgow rangers as they are the team that stuart passionately supports. he described stuart as small, quick and tricky.but said he isn't afraid to put his foot in. he was worried that the 'country boy' would struggle to adjust to city life, but I assured him that he should be fine
