Stuart Nelson

are you for real??????

He's only 25! Still a nipper by goalie standards so i still think Nelson's quite a good prospect

yeah and put a tenner on Shergar in the 3:15 at newmarket!!!!!!!!

if you aint good enough at 25 for this div. then give up!!!!

Stuart Nelson

You're all a bunch of knobs :nono:

Nelson's a good keeper and a lovely chap and always huffs his puff out for the Bees :nono: where there are weaknesses in his game you can see that he's tried to address them - but (as I've said before) the third place in the GPG table clearly shows he's been doing something right this season :nono:

Gibberhooterish like this...
bloke up there said:
stuart......... shame Swindon didn't work out for you, but theres always the MK Dons to look forward too !
... should be saved for the Rowlands of this world, or at least someone demonstrably wantaway or consistently crap :nono:

can't figure the GPG out sometimes :nono: right cesspit of vitriol it can be, and no mistake

Judging by his car your correct he is a good prospect for a future wife to get her claws into....

If your talking about football his No.1 days at Brentford are numbered

Stuart Nelson

You really aren't keeping up with this are you? We have already established that I cannot be Nelson because I am the wrong gender (SHE who must be obeyed!) - got it yet?
and as for being a "NELSON" - I am most certainly not though, if I were, it would be an honour to be related to Stuart - its never gonna happen as I am not related to his girlfriend, mother, father, siblings - and anybody else who could possible cause me to be listed as a relative

..............are you his 'bit on the side' then.....................?:fishing:

Stuart Nelson

'can't figure the GPG out sometimes right cesspit of vitriol it can be, and no mistake'

sad but true, wee dave

don't like it then don't read it.

we all have opinions on players, which some agree with and some don't.

its a discussion forum for people to vent their anger or opinions on whatever they wish. from football to films. if you feel that some posters post ridiculous comments then put us on your ignore list........sooner or later though you'll delete them and start to read the posts again just in case you've missed some rumour.

anyway.... masters for no.1 !!!!

hope Nelson kept MA's number !!

Certainly it is the people on my ignore list that I most trust for the latest hot leads

Stuart Nelson

MA didn't bring Nelson to GP and there was no love lost between them so so unlikely that he will end up @ MK

Stuart Nelson

This thread is getting interesting, if only for the number of non-regulars who have turned up to somewhat aggressively defend Stuart Nelson. So what is their interest then? Banana's hinted at it, but either way all this does not reflect well. At the very least, it makes poor (?) Stuart look like he has a completely psychotic following.

Stuart Nelson

Well I wouldn't put him in midfield, that's for sure.

not with his shooting boots !!

the ball will be hitting the roofs of Ealing Road !!

i personally have no grudge with Nelson, but he's not improved his game enough for me. Smith was in a similar situation i feel, he came as a goalkeeper needing to improve his game to make the step back up again. Paul Smith did this well enough to be considered as a third choice keeper for England. Nelson has been here 3 years now, his kicking is still wayward, his decision making is very poor, his communications to the defence is erratic and his commitment to crosses is woeful. He still needs big improvement to make the next step up, thats what his ambitions are, i assume, but he hasn't shown it. Masters gets his chance, which in turn gives Nelson a kick up the back side and the fight he needs to be No.1.

Stuart Nelson

Masters deserves to retain his place at present. Nelson is erratic for sure but let's keep at the club for now - he's above average for this division.

Stuart Nelson

There are a lot worse keepers than Nelson in our league. I've never understood the hatred thrown at him. Anyone want to talk about Brooker?;)

Stuart Nelson

masters
nelson

Very true Paul, it's just a pity some of the more established posters on here , do not put this into practice. It's as if we're not allowed to vent our veiws because they know better. Anyway now to piss someone off, I don't think Nelsons as bad as some make out. I do wish he would stay on his line though when we have free kicks on the half way line. One day he will get lobbed then he will look a clown.

Stuart Nelson

No doubt we will bin him off and then we will see that Masters may not be all he's cracked up to be and we'll be wanting Nelson back.

Stuart Nelson

If we're looking for a new keeper, I reckon we should try and get this bloke on loan.

Stuart Nelson

I still think it's a bit risky "dropping" Nelson, for Masters...Stu has been on a slow improvement curve for the past 18 months.
His form last Jan and Feb was excellent and he has done little wrong this season.

but it seems Clarke will be in goal for a few games...

Come on Masters ! I hope you prove yourself worthy of your support on here.

Stuart Nelson

Does anyone really believe that Nelson was injured on Saturday...if not...and you still want him to play...why?

For this reason alone we can do without cowards like him in a struggling team...let him be a primadonna somewhere else...

Stuart Nelson

Brooker may not be able or willing to tackle
Brooker may not be able or willing to chase down those misdirected through balls staight to the opposition keeper
Brooker may be a panic weasel in front of goal

He isnt lazy though and he can beat people and deliver a decent cross.

And when did he last perform any of these feats when he was at Colchester

Stuart Nelson

Yes I witnessed this myself - unlike too many people on this message board who make it up as they go along, I only write what I know to be true - there is no speculation attached to this - Stuart Nelson was sitting with Lloyd in the stand wearing his tie -

Thank you very much and yes i do believe you, just for the record do you happen to know for sure WHY he was in the stand and not on the bench

I would also welcome prima donnas if they improved the team

I can help here.....He wasn't on the bench because he wasn't selected. :sorted:

Who scored the winning penalty at Swindon

Stuart Nelson

Nelson has had his best season so far with us and won us many points ..yes hes had a couple of errors but that hasn't been the reason for us losing points, blame our strikers. Nelson seems to be used as a excuse when really its our non-effective team which is why we're awful at the moment not Nelson hoofing the ball into the stand every 10th kick.
Everyone seems way OTT about Masters, the lads done well but in the first half against Blackpool he looked out of his depth, missing crosses and not controlling the defence. Granted he made two exellent saves in the second half but its easy for keepers to be good shot stoppers - take Nelson for example, a brillant shot stopper. Masters did well in the micky mouse cup but then so has Julien in the past. And then come saturday he lasted 25 minutes, perhaps not his own fault but i don't believe his record at this moment his better than Nelsons.

Stuart Nelson

Edmundo, against a Blackpool team that has struggled this year and caused him problems for the first 45 minutes. Like i said i value Masters and believe he could be the next paul smith for us but i still believe Nelsons a better keeper at the moment and will continue to be so for the next couple of years.
0 goals conceded this season for Masters but its hardly been quality opposition and strikers, didn't we all sing Nelsons praises after Northampton in the league and his second half display?

Yes we did and at Scunny and at Orient and there was nothing he could do at Chesterfield.

Stuart Nelson

Im not a fan of Nelson but find it hard to have a strong opinion either way because none of us know the truth of what has gone on in the last week. Whether it will ever come out while Nelson is still at the club i dont know, probably not. If he is just plain injured then Masters will have control of the jersey and in the coming games will either keep it by playing well or Nelson will win it back.

Stuart Nelson

Which is why i can't understand everyone jumping up and down about how much they dislike Nelson and how crap he is when really hes had a decent season. Occasionally he will kick into touch, like Masters misses a cross ...goalkeepers at our level aren't perfect but everyone seems to blaming our season on Nelson instead of our lacklustre team. Why don't we have a go at Kuffour for not scoring for about 6-7 games?!

With the exception of Smith at Forest tell me a better keeper in league one and we will see if you knowwhat you are talking about

Stuart Nelson

Willy Gueret :sorted: And Clark Masters :fishing:

Stuart Nelson

Oh dear, he's resorted to Upper Case typing...

I guess he is really angry now !

Stuart Nelson

Thank you very much and yes i do believe you, just for the record do you happen to know for sure WHY he was in the stand and not on the bench

Thank you very much - at last someone who believes me

Yes I do know "for sure" why he was in the stand and not on the bench - he was injured - hopefully he will be fit soon but I have not spoken to him in last 48 hours so I am uncertain as to his progress with injury

Thank you again at least i now know the truth as to why we had no keeper on the bench
