:well done BEE HOfficial announcement should be made on Tuesday re Student ticketing.

:this is fantastic news my mum works at the local college and I reckon she will be able to knock me up an ID no problem![]()
I wasn't aware you couldn't get student on the day any more - live in Leeds now and make about 5 matches a year. Was a bit miffed today, as I couldn't afford to buy my dad a pint after the match as a result.
Given there was someone to tell me they couldn't sell me a ticket, why couldn't there just be a person that sells me a ticket?
Absolutely no good reason, and another reason to complain. Was expecting to get my turkey sandwich robbed by a stroppy security guard as well, but didn't. So i'll save that gripe.
Student bar comment….Ha Ha HA..! ….its not easy for these kids to get student-rate entry, if its not easy… lads of their generation will blow us out.
My Boyzee has been my match-day companion since age of 11ish. Frankly speaking if it wasn’t for the £3 a game or £30 a season deals back then we probably couldn’t have done it week in week out.
He’s in sixth-form education now, and the days of the £3 / £5 entry are long gone.
Queuing for ages at the ‘ice-cream’ hut prior to going through the turnstiles is simply a ball-ache, Actually a couple of weeks ago when Boyzee queued for 15 mins, the lad in the kiosk stated that all student tickets had been sold, and he ought to pay full whack, which he did.. !
My observation is that if it’s a bloody obstacle course for this (non-earning) generation to get a ticket….they probably won’t bother.

"I think its frustrating to have to book early for league 2."
If I got 30% for booking early - I would. I thought students were improvished and needed to save every penny. Obviously not.

BFC have just announced that £12 Student Tickets will be available on the day for the Ealing Road terrace I spoke with the club and am advised that various forms of valid Student ID will be accepted

What Student ID is acceptable? A list would be handy... I have a UCAS Card![]()
Perfect! Well done Brentford. Im at St Marys Twickenham uni, and got lot of friends at uni who want to come to Brentford but see £18 as too steep considering we are skint students lol
So this move should mean get few of the lads to come with me.
I would expect your university ID would be fine to use.
As far as I know you don't get a card when you are at school from the ages of 16-18. I haven't read through the thread but are these catered for?
Nobody cares.
Am I mental or do we currently say that U16 get in for £5 and 16 and overs get in for £20 unless they are students of 18 or older. How about the 16-18 year old students? I must be missing something.
There is obviously a very grey area here. Most 16-18 year olds are still at school or 6th form college (and still entitled to free travel on buses and trains in London) but do not hold NUS cards. So do the club accept school ID or UCAS applications, etc ? Mind you when my lads were in the 6th form they just paid as sixteen year olds but carried school ID with them and if there was any issue I'd take it up with the club. Thankfully there wasn't.

The bottom line is we have three large universities on our doorstep, St Mary's, Kingston and Brunel (you can throw in TVU as well), with potentialy a reasonable "floating" support so it would be good to see the club pro-active in encouraging this. Let's not forget that a lot of these students will also come along to support their local teams (Bradford, Rochdale, Notts County, etc quite possibly and will want to come back albeit in the Ealing road end next time.
You don't, but I applied for a free UCAS (the company that deals with university applications) card that gives you discount at vue, Orange, BSM, Bella Italia, Play.com and a few others. However, it has no photocard. So I imagine they might not like this...

I have the form to get an NUS card, and I should have applied ages ago but I never got round to it...
I'll do it eventually though![]()

Is it true that you can only get a student ticket if you are 21 and under??
1) Oh yes they do !
3) No, you're not mental, it was a subject raised by a few and the latest announcement now hopefully covers your concern ;

Many thanks to BIAS for their input and assistance![]()
I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that for student season tickets this is the case but i'm not sure whether it applies when paying on the day.
If anyone knows for certain, i'd appreciate clarification on the matter for curiosity purposes.
Regards,
Humphrey
I got an email from BFC this morning confirming that there is no age limit.
Some help with a question please, bringing some of my mates from uni along to the game on tuesday. One of the main reasons they agreed was due to £13 Student ticket.
However my uni (st Marys) doesnt have a link with NUS, so nearly all students at my uni dont have a NUS card, but we do have a our St Marys University ID card. Will this be alright for my mates to use?? to get a student ticket
Doubt there going to be willing to purchase a NUS just for a couple of bees games.
ABee probably know the answer to my question![]()

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but can someone please confirm for me whether or not I can buy an Ealing Rd student ticket on the day? I know it used to be in advance only, but thought I'd read something somewhere about it changing, and can't find it. Thanks

Students can gain admission via Turnstile 5 for the Ealing Road Terrace only, at a cost of £14. But they must confirm their status by producing either a student photocard (such as an NUS card) or a 16+ Oyster photocard.
Student / Concession Tickets
Student Tickets are available to purchase on the day of the match for the Ealing Road Terrace only at a cost of £12 through turnstile 5. Requisite student identification must be shown at the turnstile in order to gain admission at the reduced rate
