lol fair to say they're not selling well? piss-poor from adidas...

This Adidas deal has been piss poor, cheap gear with stick on badges and sponsors....Puma was 100% better and we should have stayed with them under a better deal.
Can we be making any money when the shirts and jackets are being sold off cheap less than half way in to the season?

Who wants training gear that has nothing to do with the club colours with an iron on badge?

Had to collect a christmas present from the club shop pre-game saturday, decided to have a close look at the adidas stuff. Utter *****, disgustingly over priced tat. Must sell well for the club to keep the contract going though? Which I suppose is the main criteria.

Club shop open until 7.30pm this week apart from Christmas Eve. Nice one !!

"Neon Marine" - that classic football colour combination.

This is the first away shirt i havn't brought in the last 10yrs, both the last two yellow and black has been the best.

I haven't bought it. There have been a few times when I have threatened not to buy an awful away kit but I always relent in the end. I have wondered into the club shop a few times when I am early for a game and my boy always says let's get one and I cave in. This is the first time that I half think, oh go on then. I look at the Chelsea kit hanging up on the shelf and I always think of the times I will wear it. Basically when I play 5 a side. I would be wearing a Chelsea'I kit amongst other players wearing Chelsea kits, I just couldn't stomach people thinking I was a Chelsea fan so I always walk away.

This is the first kit I have not purchased since the promotion season in 1990. The club are missing out on my shirt and my sons shirt with his name and number on the back, I am sure just a few pence to them.

I just find it incredible that the powers that be at the club think for one second that it is acceptable to give us a Chelsea kit as an away kit. Will they give us a blue and white hooped next year?

There was a bloody circus in that office the day that decision was made.

Agree with the last post, I too buy the away shirt even if I don't like it much but can't bring myself to buy the away shirt this year, just a Chelsea shirt with our badge on imo.

Maybe one of the reasons the Black away kit was introduced.

Agree entirely, apart from the phantom 1990 promotion

I always think Ipswich but Chelsea may well be closer. The kits and training wear just show such a lack of effort and imagination.

no - a third kit was inevitably going to be needed, as our kits are red-n-white and blue, making any games against blue-n-white unmanageable. clever eh

We never use to change against teams like Fulham qpr hudders or Bolton ! But this new football ! ****

I would fly the flag for the Bees down under with a half decent polo shirt or jacket however, the stuff on offer is really not reflecting the current status or the proud heritage of our club.

Puma was so much a different class to this addidas crap, addidas have absolutely no class and obviously just a money making machine i.e. Sports Direct

For one of the world's biggest manufacturers of sportsware it really is a pile of cack. Even Lonsdale and TFG did better.

Then again I guess that's how theyre so successful, must be making ridiculous margins!

Exactly.
Mass produce some ridiculous colours (Neon marine), then just stick every clubs badge on it.
Very poorly done, no thought put into it and very disappointing.

Hoping to pay a visit tomorrow, but by the sounds of it I'm not holding out much hope.

Best thing to do is just not buy any of it. A lot of the gear in the shop is rubbish

Does this mean I guess that Reading away we would most likely be wearing black?

I'm interested to know why Fulham haven't been persuaded to have the horrific blue/orange stuff. All their training gear is either black or white. They also have embroidered badges on their replica kits.

Whoever negotiate this Adidas deal needs a clip around the ear - especially when you consider some of the stuff that Adidas do manufacture that could have looked so good on our players and at least some of our fans. ;). (See previous threads/rants for details)

We have some fans who would look good in nothing (blond lady behind me at Fulham) and some who wouldn't look good in anything (me and most the rest of us).

Could be because Adidas consider F***am a "Big club".

Got a replica top with a players name on for this season (cost £50 roughly?) and that player has since left? Well now you can buy ANOTHER shirt for 'just' £15 to replace it :sorted:

Who comes up with these wonderful incentives rofl rofl

you have to present the old one though - too late if you had a Tarkowski shirt and burnt it in effigy :)

Can I get a new one with Hogan 9 on it? My son is terribly upset that he's worn it for almost two years and he's not played a game and now it's looking like he's soon to be fit HB jnr has grown out of it....:(

Anyone know if the new manager of the superstore has his hands tied since taken over during last season, he promised me new stuff in December which didn't happen? The baby clothes has been the same for a few years now, hardly anything new has been in for ages, looking online all there is a towel? I've been to Saracens a few times for my daughter who comes with me to every home game and a few away games they get an average 8k crowds and there club shop is double ours with a very good large selection for under 2's for boys, I do hope Brentford sort out this mess for the upcoming season a head.. I want to by my boy Jack who is now 15 months old everything the club shop makes :( I do hope for the upcoming season that he brings in stock like coats, fleeces, baby grows etc etc..
