Not necessarily. I suspect this summer there has been a bigger cull than we’ll see going forward because loads would’ve done more aways than usual during 21/22

I think it depends where they draw the line. If it's a 3,000 capacity match and they put 500-600 on sale first you might just squeeze in. London matches and Bournemouth definitely 2nd/3rd tier.

I think it would be interesting to know if there were any GpGers who wanted to attend any awaygame, but couldnt get a ticket as seats sold out before their Taps level. Might have applied to Fulham game. Any other games?

A more accurate way to look at this is what points difference you have compared with this time last year.
That is a more accurate method to gauge what you have lost/gained.
For instance I “lost” 290 Taps bit in reality I’m only down 30 Taps from my total 12 months ago.
So I’m probably in the same tranche for away tickets as I was anyway. So no real change.

I believe (but could be mistaken) that Liverpool away was sold out to season ticket holders, meaning a member with a million TAPs would have missed out.

It's not impossible that the average net loss was greater than your 30, so you may even have got nearer to the top of the pile.

Down 735. I did go to a lot more aways first season up on the basis it might be our only PL season. Down now to only top 25% so no Bournemouth away for me!

Yes that's my assumption, remember to compare it with what you had at the start of last season, rather than the end. That would probably give you better idea.

Indeed. As posted yesterday I have 10 more points than I did a year ago.
I am comfortably in the top 5% with 3405 so asking more out of curiosity than anything.

Got my email: lost 980 but still in the Top 5%. My medical conditions meant quite a large reduction in Aways last season, so to be expected.

If it was specifically asked to restricted to STH, my guess is it won't have been.
As part of process improvement, could you suggest to them that they generate this email when they perform the cull, together with the starting TAPs from the previous season which everyone agrees is the important figure and wasn't in this email.

It's not last season's points that have dropped off but the first PL season's. You will be down if you earned more TAPs in 2021/2 than in 2025/6. I'm up because I earned fewer in 2021/2 than 2025/6. Although nothing in the communication from the club actually says so.Down 330 TAPs although I feel sure I went to more aways this year than last.

Started last season on 2,640, ended the season on 3,255 and now down to 2,475 for a net loss of 165. I'm not sure why this is since I attended pretty much the same number of matches last season as in 21/22, both home and away (maybe some games attracted higher TAPS that season?) but I don't think it makes a great deal of difference to my priority levels. Broadly it seems to be a logical and sensible system working well.

Lost 800… but that’s considerably better than the 3693 I lost before last season.
