I dont fully understand why anybody would want our third best right back /Wing back in Ghoddos to be starting.
Roerslev and Ajer are streets ahead of him UNLESS we play a 3-5-2 formation with the wing backs playing more as midfielders.
I like Ghoddos, but would not be happy with him starting over Ajer or - in particular - Roerslev.

How have we got ourselves in a situation where we think starting with Ghoddos in the PL is a really good idea???

Nearly a full fixture list of PL games today and there are 3 teams who could go above us. Everton look likely to get 3 points and Wolves play Man City and Chelsea away at Fulham. 3 points for us on Sunday and we can put some distance between us. Vitaly is due a goal.

If you look at Wissa’s stats over the last few games, compared with Mbeumo, you wouldn’t say that.

Think the team pretty much picks itself. Can't see Thomas throwing Maupay in for his first start - especially as Wissa ran the show for us at Forest last season.
Forest still playing obelisks at CB in Worrell and McKenna so out and out pace is key, IMO.

Injuries

Feels like there’s a general feeling of panic at the moment because of this. Anyone putting in a decent shift for 10 mins is being touted as a starter. Roerslev and Ajer are both way ahead of Ghoddos as starters at RB/RWB and will be fine. We’re not going to suddenly change everything up because of one horrible performance v Everton. We’ve still got a very good starting 11 people need to calm down a bit!!

Some dark arts practitioners required to counter Cooper's sly tactics on and off the field. Punching their groundsman before KO will be a positive start. They will be in the face of the ref all the game and with their vociferous support you can see how officials can be influenced, as happened at Newcastle. We are a more skillful side than them, just need to be as physical as well and kick them off the park if necessary.

Though it’s worth remembering a front two of Wissa and Mbeumo caused Forest a lot of pain last time at theirs.

Bryan IMO has been in poor form. Hardly involved and not threatening when he has received the ball.

He’s a marked man at the moment (literally), teams are closing him and Jensen down v quickly and are happy to allow the likes of wissa and janelt time on the ball as they’re not as much of a threat.

Against Burnley we went back to a 4231, and talk that we want to try and be more progressive, especially at home.

That looks quite attacking for a Cooper team! We’re down to the bare bones with injuries and will probably go 532 low block and look to hit you on the counter, then maybe go more attacking 2nd half depending on match situation. After the week we’ve had I think most Bees would take a point. And I think we’ll get it.
