Team vs QPR

Right, so...

Bentley
Dalsgaard Egan Bjelland Clarke
Mokotjo Woods Nico
Jozefzoon Maupay Watkins

If Dalsgaard is not fit then Barbet plays at LB and Clarke at RB.

Team vs QPR

Not going to like it..............BUT!
I would rest Woods....drop Watkins back in his place and start Canos!
Only IMO.

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Clarke, Egan, Bjelland, Barbet
Kamo, McEachran, Nico
Flo, Maupay, Watkins

Something going on with Vibe so Canos on for Maupay.

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Dalsgaard Egan Barbet Clarke
Woods
Yennaris Sawyers
Flo Maupay Canos

Team vs QPR

Canos HAS to start or i fear the worst...they are crap but they are well up for this game as they dont want to lose 4 on the run to us....all the battlers, tacklers and ones who can take people on must start, no show ponies or one trick donkeys please...ie josh mac and old lassie kept well away from the starting 11...thats all that really matters really ;)

Team vs QPR

I would start Canos and move Watkins inside as neither Maupay nor Vibe are really clicking. Midfield needs a shakeup after last two games. McEachran and McLeod for Sawyers and Yennaris

Team vs QPR

I see Holloway has started the games already , Might have to blood some youngsters against Brentford , only 3 fit defenders ..... dull dull dull

-- Promising idea, worth exploring. Maupay as impact sub, Vibe only in emergencies.

Midfield needs a shakeup after last two games. McEachran and McLeod for Sawyers and Yennaris
-- Sawyers could do with a rest but I'm not keen on McE, would prefer Mokotjo. Would persist with Yennaris.

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Clarke----Egan----Bjelland----Barbet
---- Woods
Mokotjo----McEachran
Canos--------Watkins
---- Maupay

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Dalsgaard - Egan - Bjelland - Clarke
Nico - Woods - Kamo
Sergi - Maupay - Watkins

Bench: Daniels, Barbet, McEachran, Macleod, Flo, Vibe, Romaine
Clarke for Dalsgaard and Barbet for Clarke if Dalsgaard not fit.

Team vs QPR

Mokotjo and Canos should start. It won't happen anytime soon, but I'd really like to see what Mepham and Barbet can manage as a centre back pairing -- perhaps next season...

Team vs QPR

Bentley

Clarke Egan Barbet Ilias

Mokotjo Woods

Watkins
Flojo Maupay Canos

Subs: Daniels, Bjelland, Sawyers, Maceachran, Macleod, Vibe, Nico

If we play Maupay up front we need players willing to run beyond when he comes deep, Watkins will give us that, Canos too. I think Ilias deserves a chance as our balance is all wrong at the moment. Clarke and Ilias overlapping FLojo and Canos should be enough to give QPR serious problems. Add to that Watkins running at them from deep and they'll be all over the place. Woodsy and Mokotjo to do the mopping up and keeping the ball moving.

Team vs QPR

Bentley

Dalsgaard Egan Bjelland Clarke

Woods McEachran

Flo Watkins Canos

Maupay

The midfield needs shaking up, particularly after Tuesday. Canos needs to start, but not in place of Flo or Watkins

Team vs QPR

QPR will come and attack us so:

Bentley

Dalsgaard Egan Bjelland Clarke

Nico Woods Mokotjo

Watkins Vibe Canos

Team vs QPR

Forget Dalsgaard for the time being as we have heard nothing to suggest he is near coming back

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Dalsgaard - Egan - Bjelland - Clarke
Nico - Woods - Kamo
Sergi - Maupay - Watkins

Bench: Daniels, Barbet, McEachran, Macleod, FloJo, Vibe, Sawyers

Unsure of the middle three. I would like to have either Sawyers or JMC playing, but I think Sawyers looks spent and Josh would play too deep for my liking. I would also like to see Barbet as CB for this one, but I am unsure who I would take out. If HD not fit then Clarke on right and Barbet on left.

Team vs QPR

Then again, why would we want to let QPR know if he was.

If NLB says "Forget Dalsgaard for the time being" then you can probably forget Dalsgaard for the time being

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet
Yennaris Woods Mokotjo
Flojo Maupay Canos

Team vs QPR

Canos for Maupay with Watkins down the middle and Mokotjo for Sawyers.

Team vs QPR

Bentley

Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet

Woods McEachran

Flo Watkins Canos

Maupay

The midfield needs shaking up, particularly after Tuesday. Canos needs to start, but not in place of Flo or Watkins

Amended given news on Dalsgaard from the oracle (ie NLB) ;)

Team vs QPR

Agree with the Moko and Canos suggestions. Maupay to start again.

Team vs QPR

Bentley

Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet

Woods (or Nico) Kamo

Canos McEachran Watkins

Maupay

Team vs QPR

Same team I thought should have started against Burton:
-----------Bentley------------
Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet
-----------Woods------------
------Nico----McEachran---
-Canos--Maupay--Watkins-

(or possily keep Zoom instead of Canos - not sure on that one)

Edit: Forgot about Kamo (sorry Kamo). So I'd be tempted to go for the same team as WP (with Kamo getting his chance ahead of Nico).

Team vs QPR

Congratulations to NLB on the new role at BFC! :sorted:

Team vs QPR

I think if Mokotjo starts we will win the game.

Lets give Canos a run out as well.

Team vs QPR

Bentley
Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet
Mokotjo Woods Nico
Canos Vibe Watkins

Watkins is isolated in the side on the left with no Rico or Clarke at left back as Barbet, as good as he is defensively, is not a wing back that can team up with Watkins. Am not sure what the answer is with the available resources as would be too much of a gamble against QPR to play Ilias....I think!! Canos had a similar issue when he came on so simply swapping players around on left will probably not help. A midfield 3 of Mokotjo Woods and Nico will help to a degree as they will play more like a 4 3 3 where Mokotjo will veer to the left and possibly bring Watkins more into play. Would be tempted then to play Vibe from start as his additional mobility will create space for Watkins and Flo (who should start ahead of Canos).

Im not sure if it is? If hes good enough play him. Similar to Clarke, will only get better with game time.

Odd that so many people would be willing to relegate Flojo to the bench. He scored a cracking goal last time out and, by general agreement, has stepped up a gear in recent games.

I would play Flojo on the left and Canos on the right side with Watkins upfront. Bring Maupay or Vibe on as sub. I would also rest Sawyers for Kamo and play him with Woodsy and Nico. The back four would be, Clarke, Egan, Bjelland, Barbet. (Mepham and Illios as subs) with Bentley in goal.

Watkins would rather play out wide, Dean Smith sees him playing down the middle eventually but not yet, Ollie going in the middle on Tuesday really didn't work so why would you think it's a good idea at this time?

This is an interesting one. Watkins prefers to play as a Number 10 and is being nursed on the wing to get him in the team and acclimatise him to the demands of the Championship. He has not played up top yet and that is where I suspect he will eventually end up but it would be a risk at this juncture. Maupey was brilliant at Loftus Road earlier this season so I would start with him.

How do we get Canos in the team? That is the question as Flo Jo drifts in and put of the game and looks less energetic and dangerous than Sergi but his stats are pretty amazing in terms of assists.

Team vs QPR

If you believe Ollie in GWL, then he's only got 3 fit defenders & none of them are CBs. Hopefully, he's getting his excuses lined up in advance to explain away another heavy defeat to us...
No doubt a couple of them will miraculously recover in time for Monday night, but it might allow DS to tinker a bit more than he would normally, after a poor performance last Tuesday.
For me, Canos has done enough to warrant a start, & his energy & enthusiasm should draw extra derby fouls. This would allow us a sort of one-and-a-half up front (Maupay/Vibe + Watkins) against a possibly makeshift defence. We could strike early & be done & dusted just like our last visit.

(Anyway, that's how I dreamt it last night....)

I think Watkins is probably the best finisher at the club and has alot more goals in him. I do like Maupay (despite his miss at Cardiff but see him as a good impact sub). The real dilemma is where/how to fit Canos back into team and this could one way of doing that. Unless you could play Canos just behind Maupay in a free role similar to that of jota last year. I think we need to mix it up a bit as we are a little predictable. Personally, I'm looking forward to Marcondes in January as we seem to need about 25 plus shots to score one goal at the moment and if we could convert more chances I believe we be top six.

Does he and is he? I’ve heard he is very happy playing left wing and that’s where he asked to play in Exeter’s youth setup.

I think he’s happy just to be playing at the moment but I’d bet that he isn’t still playing out wide by the end of the season.

As always this thread is completely entertaining and absolutely nuts and full of madmen

Team vs QPR

Same starting team as vs Burton except I'd rest Yennaris and play Mojo. Canos looked way off match fitness vs Burton so not a starter yet IMO.

Team vs QPR

Think it'll be:

---------------Bentley---------

Clarke---Egan---Bjelland---Barbet

--Woods--Yennaris--Mokotjo---

Canos-----Maupay---Watkins-----
