-- Promising idea, worth exploring. Maupay as impact sub, Vibe only in emergencies.I would start Canos and move Watkins inside as neither Maupay nor Vibe are really clicking.
-- Sawyers could do with a rest but I'm not keen on McE, would prefer Mokotjo. Would persist with Yennaris.Midfield needs a shakeup after last two games. McEachran and McLeod for Sawyers and Yennaris
Forget Dalsgaard for the time being as we have heard nothing to suggest he is near coming back
Then again, why would we want to let QPR know if he was.
Bentley
Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet
Woods McEachran
Flo Watkins Canos
Maupay
The midfield needs shaking up, particularly after Tuesday. Canos needs to start, but not in place of Flo or Watkins
If NLB says "Forget Dalsgaard for the time being" then you can probably forget Dalsgaard for the time being
Bentley
Clarke Egan Bjelland Barbet
Mokotjo Woods Nico
Canos Vibe Watkins
Watkins is isolated in the side on the left with no Rico or Clarke at left back as Barbet, as good as he is defensively, is not a wing back that can team up with Watkins. Am not sure what the answer is with the available resources as would be too much of a gamble against QPR to play Ilias....I think!! Canos had a similar issue when he came on so simply swapping players around on left will probably not help. A midfield 3 of Mokotjo Woods and Nico will help to a degree as they will play more like a 4 3 3 where Mokotjo will veer to the left and possibly bring Watkins more into play. Would be tempted then to play Vibe from start as his additional mobility will create space for Watkins and Flo (who should start ahead of Canos).
I would play Flojo on the left and Canos on the right side with Watkins upfront. Bring Maupay or Vibe on as sub. I would also rest Sawyers for Kamo and play him with Woodsy and Nico. The back four would be, Clarke, Egan, Bjelland, Barbet. (Mepham and Illios as subs) with Bentley in goal.Odd that so many people would be willing to relegate Flojo to the bench. He scored a cracking goal last time out and, by general agreement, has stepped up a gear in recent games.

Watkins would rather play out wide, Dean Smith sees him playing down the middle eventually but not yet, Ollie going in the middle on Tuesday really didn't work so why would you think it's a good idea at this time?

This is an interesting one. Watkins prefers to play as a Number 10 and is being nursed on the wing to get him in the team and acclimatise him to the demands of the Championship.
Does he and is he? I’ve heard he is very happy playing left wing and that’s where he asked to play in Exeter’s youth setup.
Same starting team as vs Burton except I'd rest Yennaris and play Mojo. Canos looked way off match fitness vs Burton so not a starter yet IMO.
Think it'll be:
---------------Bentley---------
Clarke---Egan---Bjelland---Barbet
--Woods--Yennaris--Mokotjo---
Canos-----Maupay---Watkins-----
He has asked to play on the wing, this wingman role is his choice.I think he’s happy just to be playing at the moment but I’d bet that he isn’t still playing out wide by the end of the season.
