Team vs Wolves (A)
Ok so this is a team prediction / suggestion thread but also a public service announcement to try to reignite some positivity around things.
No doubt we’ve just come off the back of a really tough game week and achieving only a single point from three matches, however tough they were on paper, has clearly impacted the mood.
But I think we should see the defeat to Newcastle as a positive turning point really. With Jansson sadly being injured, there is no more shoe-horning him on the right of a back three (which I think most people could see wasn’t ideal). The injured players are also starting to return (great that we saw Janelt yesterday). And most exciting of all, it appears Schade (wonderkid) has now “arrived”.
With a full week to reset and get that difficult week out of our system, I’d like to think players, staff and fans can find some fresh optimism for the rest of this season and beyond.
As for the team vs Wolves. We still have an outside chance of European qualification so I’m not saying “play the kids” but I feel there is also an opportunity here where we have an 8-game run-in with no risk of relegation. That’s something many teams do not have and it gives us a chance to really get a head start on next season. It also allows us not to risk injuries for players who are maybe struggling with fatigue at this point of the season.
I think regardless we also need to win this game to keep up our European chances so I’d go for a brave, attack-minded lineup.
So I’d go for something like this. Rests for players like Jensen, Mbeumo, Nørgaard.

Go Wissa for Roerslev if you are feeling extra brave.
