It will take over your torch so it becomes a syncronised display. Without the app you'd just have a torch on and it wouldn't show whatever it is Spurs want to display. Can't work out why you would need to download and app to take part.

Pubs around Liverpool Street are OK. The Astronomer at the top of Middlesex St is pretty good and we use it for WHU as well. It's best to check train times as we were late into WHL last season and missed the first ten minutes. Enjoyed our 3-0 win though.Kings X the best place for pre-match beers then I am guessing - unless anyone else has any other recommendations?

We got into the ground late. Admittedly there was a bit of shouting just as we went in but it calmed down. Someone told us later that Kane had scored early doors but they were making it up I reckon. Deffo 3-0.
Ticket now goneI've got a spare paper ticket if anyone needs one. Please PM me, can meet outside the ground.

Don't think they let in kids though - not sure my daughter would thank me for having to watch in through the windows as I have a beer or two or a skull filled with long island ice teaIt’s all about Simmonds ?

I worked in the City for the first 18 months of my working life, over 50 years ago! Had no reason to be back there until the last couple of years and was well impressed with the alehouses in the area. When I worked there the pubs closed in the early evening and it was deserted.Few of us going to the 2tone exhibition at the Barbican then drinking round liverpool st.
