:confused: as of 9.00 a.m. this morning he was due to sign for _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ which is north of Northampton, south of York, north of ..............

Not true, when his loan expires, the club have the option of making the deal permanent and Bully would still be eligible to play.

I can't remember where they are in the League but this many departures (and as yet no replacements) can't be good.

I think they currently have 47 points, probably not enough to stay up.

If they lose that many players a poor run must be possible, therefore relegation is still on for them.

I would be amazed if a striker wasn't signed today. I suspect on loan. But reckon that might be it. Given the wages that have been reduced by the departure of Peters and DAP.

I would suggest that a striker is not such a pressing need as a keeper. Julian is just not up to it, Nelson is a little better but still not one to inspire complete confidence, and we need to stop leaking goals. I understand that Southampton have a good understudy for Niemi, I wonder if we could take him on loan until Saints need him again....... :D

In today's Chronicle Allen talks about the size of our squad, saying that he wants to get it down to 18. It seems he's doing it already, only Rougier could be said to be a first team regular who's been released. I'm also glad that some of the younger lads who won't be kept on in the summer are getting themselves fixed up with new clubs now as opposed to taking their chances in the summer.
