Agree with Mr Cynical about Rougier, great talent, but to be honest I can only remember a few games where he really turned it on or seemed up for it.

What we need 'til the end of the season is the whole team fighting - as we saw against Rushden. There is no room for slackers if we are to avoid the drop!

For what it counts I was disappointed that we did not have the fillip that a new signing often brings, however when you think about it the team and us fans got our big fillip with Allen himself and as has been said we do not have a bad squad not promotion but not bad

According to their OS, Daniel talbot has also left on loan.

But their squad was 23 at the start of the day, they'd better pray there's no injuries.

Rushden and Diamonds have inexplicably allowed four of
our most important players to leave the club on free
transfers. Onandi Lowe has joined Coventry until the
end of the season, Paul Hall has signed for Tranmere
also until the end of the season, Paul Underwood has
moved to Luton Town (not sure how long for) and Marcus
Bignot has re-joined QPR until the end of next season.
Daniel Talbot has also joined Stevenage on a 1 month
loan deal. This leaves us with just 15 first team
players (one of whom is out for the season) and a
handful of youth team players who have about 30mins
first team experience between them! Div 3 here we
come!

Oh, forgot to mention the other week, that veteran
defender Barry Hunter has taken over the role of
player/manager until the end of the season.

Not sure about players who aren't registered anywhere and find a club
