First time Federer has lost after being two sets up.
BBC yesterday said he'd done it twice before, to Nalbandian in some ATP Finals Final, and to Hewitt in Davis Cup
Viva Espana!!
I've stuck up for him against silly personal abuse naff all to do with tennis but ultimately his tennis isn't good enough. He was rubbish today a gutless performance. I doubt he will win a major his head isn't right for it and neither is his gamel. He has a strange inability to kill off rallies even when presented with the simplest of chances instead seemingly happy to keep the ball in play and wait for his opponent to make an error. Well Murray the Nadals of this world dont do that so change your game or be a bridesmaid for ever. sh*te today .a plucky effort as he gets outclassed. again. why even get excited?
oh well wimbledons most miserable bloke is out again, soon we will have a proper English player then we can forget about supporting the jocks
No doubt when this young English kid wins the boys singles and calls all the southerners to$$ers because he's a northern lad from Stockport, you'll all hate him too.....![]()
I think you've missed the point.

bye bye you loser![]()
Why is he a loser? He was seeded (expected to get to the semi's) and did it for the third consecetive year (a little more than Tiger Tim ever did). So he matched expectations. Unfortunately he is not as talented as Rafa and got beat, so that's no big deal, just a fact of life.

Henman reached four Wimbledon semi finals.

he's still the best 'British' player since the 30's, i hope he does win a Slam one day.
he's scottish, not british...![]()
and i'm english. who gives a sh*t? I'm British too as it states so on my passport. DO you have an English passport or a British/UK passport? Never mind eh. Still there's some scots and welsh in me. Some english, irish, welsh and scots in my kids. is that a problem?
Seems to be for some. It's a shame, judging by some of these posts, some people still hate someone because of where in the world they come from.
Was told tonight that whatever the result of the Djokivic vs Nadal game, that Djokivic gets the world number one spot. Whilst I agree that his record this season probably deserves a world number one spot, I just can't understand how he would overtake Nadal (considering Nadal came into the tournament as world number) if Nadal were to beat him in the final.
