As we pledged at the beginning of the season, we have designated a number of Category B games for My Bees Members who signed up early and have not previously had the chance to get a ticket for a home League Game. Wolves is the first of these games.

My Bees Members who bought their membership before July 27 and haven't attended a home Premier League game yet: Monday 20 December, 2pm (one per person, subject to availability)

All My Bees Members (subject to availability): Wednesday 22 December, 2pm (one per person, subject to availability).

200 of these Match Tickets will be available to purchase at the Box Office only.

So two reasons not to sell tickets on that day ??

They could....And then at 3pm or 3:30pm the game may be sold out to all members, again.

Next week is fine it'd just be good to know.
I am coordinating a few members to attend this one so a couple of hours warning is all I ask for!

I have replied to the club's tweet of the weekly announcement hopefully someone will respond in the morning.

- has changed: yesterday it was saying today at 2pm; now it's saying Mon 20th at 2pm. Though oddly if you (try to) go to the ticket site you get put into the virtual waiting room until 2pm, though not sure what for.

Yep. No response to my two tweets to the official site about this, but now we have an answer anyway. it's Monday.

The countdown took you to nothing other than the (sold out) latest batch for Man City at home.

This is as per this, isn't it?
There will be a number of designated Category B games in the second half of the season prioritised for Members who have not previously had a chance to attend a game. These matches will be revealed later in the season. This pledge is only available if the stadium is operating at full capacity during the season and only to Members who sign up before 13 August up to a cap of 10,000 Members.

Not sure why it's 27th July suddenly rather than 13th August. will the later buyers get a different priority window?

I'd love to know the reasoning behind just bining the previous approaches to tickets, for this one game. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a u-turn of some description on this one. Unless there is only a handful of members that bought in before 27 July that haven't bought a ticket? But again - why promote that fact? Will Wolves be the game that tempts those members out from under their rocks? Not sure it will be...

It's not for one game, IIRC it's for all home Cat B games from now to end of season

Indeed, will be curious to see how many of them get snapped up... It is what they said they'd do, but is certainly an interesting approach. I wonder how many members from the first 10k haven't bought a ticket yet...

Yeah it does specify 'league match'. Which also means in theory it would apply to anyone who's going to the League Cup Quarter Final next week as well.

It's hard to imagine many people paid £40 for membership in July, ignoring the home games v 5 of the big 6, and will now pay £35 or more for Bees v Wolves on a cold January day. When there's big covid around.
Still it'll take people's minds off Manurecovidgate for a day or so.

For clarity this is people who haven't attended a home game this season right? Not never attended a home match at all, although appreciate the latter overlaps with the former.

It might (some hope!) shush the folks on fb who moan about how it has proved impossible for them to get a ticket for any home game. The game at Molyneux was a belter so nobody can really complain (they will) it’s an unattractive fixture.

What is "a chance to attend a game". Everyone has had a chance to attend a game as they've all been on sale to members with 0 TAPs.

Literally true. As is saying that any member who had not in fact got a ticket for any home game had no chance of getting in to attend.

Correct, it should read haven't been successful.

This is simply honouring a contract that the club has with 10,000 members. Although tickets have been sold to people with 0 TAPS, that doesn’t mean all 10,000 have been able to buy tickets so far.

I have never felt so disenfranchised from BFC as I have in this thread.

There are many reasons why people have invested £40 in membership but have yet to buy a match ticket, such as:
They're stuck in another country (like me)
They have underlying health issues (like my brother)

So comments like
"tempts those members out from under their rock" (@NZ Bee )
"anti-TAPs threshold" (@Bee from Barnes ) - my brother and I have more TAPs than you!
"Everyone has had a chance to attend a game" (@Banana)
are ignorant at best, narrow-minded or elitist at worst

And BFC - pathetic!
If I can't make to Watford of Dec 10 I probably can't make it to Wolves on Jan 26. You need to let us choose the one game that we would like priority treatment for.

Why are you taking it personally. The fact still stands - every member has had the "chance to attend a game", you also have a "chance to attend" the Wolves game.

I don't understand your indignation, no matter where you live or if you are ill. All games are equal in this respect.

My point was that members with 0 TAPs already have had several chances to attend games this season, flipping the Charter to encourage members that haven't been to a game to go to Wolves (#teamslikeWolves) seems a little strange to me. And probably a game that would have gone on sale to members anyway...

I'm certainly not arguing with that. I can see why the club wants to get new people to the BCS, some of them might get hooked, but this seems like a poorly thought-out way of doing it.

I may not be eligible for this offer anyway as I've bought a ticket for the Villa game on Jan 2, though I'm not at all optimistic that there'll be a game that day with a crowd. If I can't get to that game my next "chance to attend a game" will be late September, and then only if work picks up next year. I certainly can't visit the UK for a weekend in late January.

You’ve been successful in getting a ticket so you won’t be eligible to buy a Wolves ticket until the group who’ve not already bought a home game ticket has had their chance. The point of it was to make sure that every one of the first 10k members had a guarantee of getting a ticket for at least one home game. As they were promised when buying membership. It’d be interesting to see how many of the 10k have already bought a ticket for a home game, how many have not yet attempted to and how many (secret away fans) have only attempted to for one game. I suspect the number of those who have tried but repeatedly failed and aren’t an opponent fan is not much if at all higher than the c3000 tickets available for Wolves.

It will be really interesting to see how many tickets are sold first time of asking. I would find it really hard to believe there would be that many whom are Brentford fans and members before 27 July that have yet to see a home game.

There's been over 150 people that have lost memberships due to this activity so far. And we haven't even played MUFC yet.

I doubt many touts will be buying tickets for this match especially given the wider situation re the pandemic.
