Wolves (H)

All My Bees Members (up to 2 tickets per membership): Wednesday 11 February, 2pm

This is a family and friends access fixture.

For this game, 18–24 and adult members can purchase up to two tickets with their membership, giving them the chance to bring a guest

  • Monday 16 March, 8pm kick-off

Yes. I bought a pair on 30th December ahead of the fixture on 7th January. It may have been available earlier than that and not mentioned
A week may not be seen as "a while" but it's long than the 48 hours we seem to get for most Cat B fixtures.

See here

Just checking.
For this game, can a paying Member purchase/forward a ticket to an Account Holder (i.e. someone who hasn't paid for a Membership) if the Member isn't going to the game themself?
Or does the Member need to purchase their own ticket, and then purchase an additional one for the Account Holder?

Good morning. I have managed to purchase two tickets myself on my own account. Did not need to use my wife’s membership. Good luck.

Thanks for getting back. (y)
Presumably you are a (paying) Member?

But what I'm really trying to check is whether the paying Member can purchase one ticket, under their Membership account, and forward it onto a (non-paying) Account Holder.

Yes paying member. Only get over a few times a season.
Not sure about your second question.
You might need to check with the ticket office
😉👍

If possible, I'd assume it'd need to be assigned at purchase - rather than forward.
I think this "bring a friend" thing is limited to the member being able to purchase two tickets assigned to themselves though?

Yeah, when I tried to reassign the 1 ticket purchased within the Members account, to the Account Holder it wouldn't let me.
I thought I remembered hearing/seeing something in ticketing FAQs about Members being able to forward their tickets to Account Holders for certain games though? (Maybe this isn't one of the designated games?)
So I didn't want to buy the ticket under the Membership, if I was mistaken, and then wasn't able to forward it on.

Wolves (H)

My daughter is in the Swarm. I'd like her to come but buy the ticket on her account to build up her taps so she can be more eligible in the future. Can this be done for this game?

Wolves (H)

I totally agree! Hopefully ST will get the chance to get an extra ticket it happened at a previous match this season,
Does anyone know the club's logic on this? In other words, on the 'low profile' games that struggle to sell out, why can members get first dibs on buying tickets for a non-member guest with ST holders rarely getting the same option?

I ended up speaking to the club about this for the Sunderland game.

I think they said, The preferred route is to allocate the ticket to the non-member (who is in your F&F) at the point of purchase.
Forwarding these extras to guests is possible but you need to ring the ticket office to do so, you can't just forward it like you can between members, or between season ticket holders and guests. It's something of a limitation in the system for these "bring a guest" games.

Unfortunately Members do not have forwarding rights, so no ability to list on the Ticket Exchange or Forward to another Bfc fan.

This might be true, but as a STH I bought a ticket for a member which was the subsequently transfered to another member?

That was what it wouldn't let me do.
But maybe that's because I hadn't bought the Member's ticket first. 🤷‍♂️

Potentially looking for an Adult West Stand ticket for this one, if any ST holders in that part of the ground know they're not gonna be making it.

Wolves (H)

I'll join the queue behind @badgerbee in looking for a spare (or two together) in the West Stand someone can transfer. In exchange for some real-life money instead of credit on the ticketing site 😀

Just to confirm I'm sorted for this one now, so if anyone has spare(s) please contact @aslan in the first place.

I'm trying to forward Mrs PB's ST for the Wolves game to a member of our friends and family network. I've done this before with no problem so think I'm ok with how it's supposed to work. However, whenever I get to the end of the process and click on 'complete purchase' , it just loops back to 'review order'. I've tried this multiple times, both logged in as myself and as her.

Anyone know if there's a problem with the ticketing website at the moment, or am I doing something wrong? Or should I just wait until Monday and phone the ticket office?

I had the same problem this morning. Was able to forward the same season ticket to the same F&F earlier in the season for a Cat. B game, so hopefully a glitch.

I checked the T&C’s on the website this morning and nothing’s been updated to say it can’t be done anymore.

Thanks. The issue for me is that the system is so kafkaesque that you never know if it's you that's doing something wrong, or if it's just not working!

Wolves (H)

Id suggest calling the TO on Monday. I had an issue on Friday trying to list in TE for Palace, and there is a block designed into the system to prevent listings until the game goes on sale. Whilst that is not the issue in your two cases, there may be another system block that has been inadvertently left on. Can you PM me for BIas to investigate if you get no joy.

The friends & family access fixture is a new membership benefit (for Adult members, 18 - 24 members and season ticket holders) which allows members and season ticket holders (excluding overseas and juniors) to purchase additional tickets.

To purchase tickets: you must be a My Bees member or season ticket holder, but no Ticket Access Points are required. My Bees members and season ticket holders will be able to purchase two extra tickets per account and will then be able to forward their extra tickets to fans in their Friends & Family network who has a Brentford FC ticketing account.

To forward your tickets to your guest:

My Bees members and season ticket holders can forward their guest tickets to anyone in their friends & family network - they do not have to be a member.

Your guest will need a Brentford FC ticketing account. Find out how to set up an account here - Setting Up Your Account – How-To Guide

Been trying to list one of my premium tickets today (first time), saying I do not have tickets to manage, thought if listed 7 days prior to match I was guaranteed full ticket price, do the club get a yellow card or am I being stupid?

Ummm, I can't find a way of listing mine either.

Suggest you email [email protected] and tell them all about it.

Would suggest ringing the TO tomorrow. Just tried to list my GA ST and it appeared to offer me that option.
Others above have complained about not being able to Forward tickets for this fixture.

Been trying to list my standard seat on the TE today, gets 50% through but just hangs on the Complete Order step in part 3.

Very similar for me trying to transfer and gets stuck at stage 3

Have now written in on behalf of BIAS to the head of the TO to give him a general heads up that the Wolves match is causing Forwarding and Ticket Listing issues. Hopefully they will recheck the way the match has been set up.

There have been some similar issues on matches earlier in the season, which when investigated, linked back to how the match was configured.

I am having exactly the same issue trying to forward my ST seat to a member who is also in my F&F. I get to confirm and the system seems to be stuck in a loop. I will be calling the TO in the morning. 🤬

Tried listing my Dad’s on the exchange. No idea if it’s been listed. The site is a pile of crap.

Only way you will know its been successfully listed is if you receive a confirmation email. No email, no listing completed.

Thanks, was impossible to upgrade a child’s ticket and transfer to an adult without the TO assistance. Even then it failed multiple times but has now finally worked.

Wolves (H)

Ticket transfer still wasn't working for me this morning so had to get the ticket office to transfer our two ST to friends for Wolves match.

Wolves (H)

Tried to put my brothers ST on exchange. Click complete purchase and goes back to review. Been trying all morning

Wolves (H)

Exchange still not working. Atrocious. They want us plebs to be tech savvy and they cannot deliver. Amateurs as Ian Brown once cried on live TV.

We have now had a response from the club that they recognize its an issue and have raised with Ticketmaster.
In the meantime they recommend calling the TO to resolve any queries arising with Forwarding or Listing.

Has this response been sent out to all?

I checked her account after I had asked the ticket office to arrange the forwarding of my wife's ST for the Wolves game. They had forwarded it for the Everton game instead.

Lucky I checked.

Same here, so phoned the Ticket Office on 03330 058521 just now. Had to wait a few minutes to get through (No.1 in the queue), but the guy who answered listed it for me promptly and efficiently. HTH.
