Aaron Hickey
Not sure the formation was the issue — he was just up against a really talented winger. Still, he didn’t get beaten all that oftenNot sure a 532 suits Hickey. Did ok but not as effective as last week. Don’t see him as a wing back.

Too much time between the two to make any impactAlong with players raising their arms before a corner, I wonder whether decoys at free kicks really add much?

Yes but was more of a long punt that somehow the city player just missed. Thought he was pretty poor on SundayWas it his pass to Thiago?
I'm confused?didn't offer nothing offensively.
hero last week, villain this week… Bobb is a very good winger… also I’ll say it again, wingback isn’t his strong suit- he is much better than rico in a flat back 4. but if our tactics are to hoof a long ball and hope someone chases it, that suits rico as he is quicker. Aaron is a top top player and one of the best, posession based players in his position.Nothing against Hickey but I just can't see that he is a better left back than Henry. He got an awful runaround from Bobb and was constantly outpaced in the first half.
Hopefully, he knows he has to get off, the moment he feels anything wrong in that area.At least he’s walking off. Fingers crossed
Is that the same leg as previous?AH done something in left leg- being subbed
Hamstring possibly or knee
Not sure - looked like his left leg was pretty much strapped up from the start of matchIs that the same leg as previous?
Yes, the surgery was on his left hamstring. Is that the same leg as previous?
That the spiritAs much as it might be bad for Aaron, this is a position that we have massive cover for. Don't panic.
Simplifies things for KA, I suppose. As much as it might be bad for Aaron, this is a position that we have massive cover for. Don't panic.
What ?I give up end the season now please
Really? Hardly anything yet. In some recent seasons we didn’t have team sheets, it was more like a roll call!More injuries
Scotland manager just said injury is small but he will be ruled out for Sunday game against Belarus.Horrendous luck for him. Hope it won't be too bad.
Rehabilitated for West Ham. Breathe GPGers.Scotland manager just said injury is small but he will be ruled out for Sunday game against Belarus.
Has he seen the scans?.......Scotland manager just said injury is small but he will be ruled out for Sunday game against Belarus.
Why do you think he's playing with pain? How much strapping did he have on his left leg. He’s a very brave young man as I suspect he’s playing with pain
I know the strapping is to support and help prevent injury but even at my low levels of sport I had ongoing unpleasant hamstring issues which I had eventually to play and run through and it really wasn’t very comfortable at times. Why do you think he's playing with pain?
It would be surprising to find a top level athlete playing with constant pain.I know the strapping is to support and help prevent injury but even at my low levels of sport I had ongoing unpleasant hamstring issues which I had eventually to play and run through and it really wasn’t very comfortable at times.
I hope you’re right but I’m not so sure.It would be surprising to find a top level athlete playing with constant pain.
He probably had an injection for the game pre match if he was in pain.I know the strapping is to support and help prevent injury but even at my low levels of sport I had ongoing unpleasant hamstring issues which I had eventually to play and run through and it really wasn’t very comfortable at times.
A player is playing in pain despite the fact we have 3 other players that can play there. Don't be silly.I hope you’re right but I’m not so sure.
I'd have thought quite the opposite, certainly for footballersIt would be surprising to find a top level athlete playing with constant pain.
