Agreed. They should have done something with the graphic of a Bee rather than plaster it with pictures of players. The rate we go through players they better be ready to slap up some new pictures each season.......or is it a sign ?

Hopefully it is a sign ?.. I think it looks well especially the condition that building was in 6 weeks ago. We wanted to move quick and get our new superstore open and the end result is very impressive. It is possible a graphic of a Bee or other signage is the long term permanent plan but credit to the club for getting this ready and open so quick.

Much rather see the boys celebrating our win against Arsenal than a graphic of a bee. Especially with our badge on the other wall; which is, um, a graphic of a bee..

I would be happier with the same cladding as the stadium and more discrete but still large signs. I guess for speed and cost the big banners cover an unsightly exterior. Also so that commuters can see on the A4 and flyover given the pics go up that high. I was not one crying out for a store. I am entitled to me opinion as are you all.

I made it along about 9.15 to get a shirt. Well stocked inside, but very few fans right now so a good time if you do want to avoid the inevitable bum fight later! Some staff still getting trained on how to do lettering etc, and prices are wrong on kids shirt - so unless you’re just getting a mug I’d deffo suggest getting there with plenty of time.

I’ve emailed the Shop with my helpful hint of the week: mugs do not survive the postal service when packed with a bubble-wrap layer in a plastic bag…
Oh great. I have 2 of them on the way! ?‍♂️

The wrap around featuring the players will change each season.

I'm after a 'L' home shirt....
Out of stock online, any in the shop??

Bees Superstore

There was a rail of them. No idea if it’s just what’s out or if they’ve got more stock
Given there's an entire upper floor, I'd hope that there was additional stock up there, unlike the old shop where it was in boxes on the floor for you to rummage through.

You’d hope, wouldn’t you…

That's the idea, previously the club had to keep surplus stock in Big Yellow storage. Which meant they thought they had sold out of stuff, when they actually hadn't.

Presumably because they had no proper stock management system, and relied on the YTS employees’ memories and whatever was written down on Post-It notes to run the business.

I assume so or something very similar

Didn’t manage to get into the SS due to the problems on the A303 yesterday and arriving late, but did anyone notice how the stock of ‘Large’ home shirts was looking??

Bees Superstore

Some of the stuff I saw in the shop on Saturday for the first time is now available online

e.g. 1889 collection "Bee" hoody in maroon - in all possible sizes! 1889 Collection Logo Hoody
e.g. blue castle badge / KLM mug Retro Mug

However others are not yet.... eg the Black castle badge jumper

1st and 3rd kits also still not available in normal sizes though it is possible they sold the whole stock of small, medium and large on Saturday of course.

I asked about the KLM shirts which were on sale earlier this season and were told they'd probably be back in a week or so. We'll see.

On the whole was very impressed with the shop on Saturday so not having a go.

New Home kit = New wrap

I ‘guess’ there’s a reason why the online shop doesn’t even feature the adult home shirt for sale.

Suggestions on a postcard.

Just got my home shirt through the post. Does the superstore have any premier league patches they can iron onto shirts?

Yes they do, don’t know the cost. Be careful about buying any off eBay and trying to do it yourself as I believe the temperature generated by a domestic iron isn’t hot enough to apply them to a shirt properly and you could end up ruining the latter.

To keep all the stock for the physical store it would look pretty bad if they didn't have any home shirts for the grand opening.

So they can only have shirts for sale within the shop or shirts for sale online, but not both? I guess that’s one way of running a business.

I agree with you that both should be well stocked, especially this early into the season.
But if if they were in the position of being understocked probably best to have the store well stocked for opening week.

Bees Superstore

Isn’t the stock the same for both? Held on the first floor for replenishing the shop displays and for online pick, pack and dispatch.

I went to the shop on Tuesday. Much better than the online version. Just a word of warning about sizes. I bought a grey polo shirt with Bees logo. I chose size M as that’s what I am in most shops. However, when I got home I tried it on. It was certainly a ‘snug’ fit, although not ridiculously tight. However, on reflection, I probably should have gone for size L.

Some nice stuff in the new shop ?

Levelled up in price too ?

The club sent my son a discount code for his birthday last Saturday ???

It expired on the 15th August however ???
I should add that once I raised the issue it was resolved incredibly quickly ??

Most of the service I receive is very good ?

There are 3 different sized badges, kids, adults and what the players wear.
The freebies the club put on at the start of the season were the middle sized adult badges.

Yes, they print/iron the PL badges on when you buy a shirt, most of the ones on the shelf were unbadged.
£5 though.
You can order this when you buy online too but someone told me you have to think to click "customisations" (which I'd normally only think was name and number) and then add the badge.

Yes this was also my experience with the 1889 bee t shirt in the spring and the "we are going up" t shirt.
However the actual kit for this season seemed to kit about right.
So whilst I wished I'd gone for a medium in those cotton t shirts I was very happy with an away shirt in small.
