£55. That's not a t-shirt then, rather a "real" footy shirt?
How is that not what i said? The other poster asked if it's a playing kit, so i clarified that we won't be playing in it

Just meant t-shirt to me is the People Just Do Nothing one, this seems like a "proper/real" footy top rather than a t-shirt. Not a pop, just checking what it actually is 👍🏻

Recieved an email last week with a code for 25% off kits - black friday offer.
Gone to use it today and it doesn't work. Called up and they say it expired yesterday. It's pathetic, how can you send an email with a discount code for black friday and have it expire before black friday! No mention of it expiring on the email, just that it's subject to t&cs. Click the t&cs link on the email and no mention of it expiring.

Back on sale for 25% off on website under the guise for cyber Monday.

Cheap logo and badge otherwise I’d have procured

Its much better than the official playing tops. Badge and sponsor built in to it so nothing is falling off in the wash, no Joma nonsense across the back. Doesn't seem the most robust shirt but deffo better value than the 'proper' tops imho.

Selling well in the Superstore, the volume of people buying merch is impressive, good move on opening the store in this location👏🏻
Yes, the new location has been a success IMO.

Loads of people going in before and after games.

Is the new shop (that’s open on non-match days) near the Kew side of Lionel Road?
And anyway to access it by car? I tried to get to it Friday evening, thought I’d park by the old shop in the spaces but there was a barrier up. Brentford studios said it was authorised cars only, wasn’t sure it was worth the risk.
Some cars were then driving on past the roundabout but I wasn’t sure cars could even go that way?!

Lionel Road South, passing the Gtech, is passable outside of matchdays as there is access to underground parking for the flats… but there’s nowhere to park. You’d need to park up outside/nearby the shop and risk it. Take an empty largish cardboard box with you and leave the boot open with it clear and obvious you’re making a delivery/collection!

Not sure if you can park by the new shop, best bet park in the leisure centre?

Fortunately, after speaking to staff, it was agreed that they would extend my code to work over the weekend.

Unfortunately, they didn't extended my code and it couldn't be used over the weekend.

Ordered a mystery box and whilst the contents were good. I ordered a 3XL box and all the clothes are XL.

Have emailed the shop but anyone have any experience of this?

Bees Superstore

My girls two boxes came today. One was quite sh*t the other very good. So we moved some stuff around to avoid WW3 on 25/12

😎
Thought there were only 2 boxes at the Gtech and that Mr B and PG had them. Are you sharing?

I thought having the entrance, and associated queue, in the narrow bit where people were trying to get round to the station steps was a masterclass of organisation.

Joma first season 3/10. Hardly any non kit items other than what was rolled out in August

I guess the argument would be that it stops people exiting the shop via the door that kind of leads on to the coach parking area bit and then the shop customers going against the flow of people walking in the opposite direction for the Kew Bridge station steps?

It’s probably just me being miserable as usual.

Pre game I think the entrance is on Lionel road, post game it becomes the exit and the reverse happens where the people queue for the trains. When the magic happens is a mystery to me.🧙‍♂️

Thicko here. Has the shop replaced the Megathing on the A4? (I’ve still never been in there as it’s the wrong side of the bridge for me.)

Yes and no. The new one is the main outlet but the A4 is there and busy. That area is going to be developed I think so might go then.

I ventured over the bridge on Saturday to support the Brentford Penguins who set up store by the "Megathing". You can catch your breath at the summit of the bridge by looking at the Remembrance Garden. I believe changes are afoot with further residential blocks being built in the vicinity.

My rare coincidence with the bridge is at the end of a forced march from South Ealing, in the absence of 65s. At that stage it looms like the North Face of the Eiger, and I cannot be interrupted or distracted from the climb!

The A4 is one is only open on Match Days, the new one is open in the week.
I think it was shut yesterday doing some refurbishing?

Yes. I asked the Doris at the shop today and she said exactly the same thing. I therefore give this an accuracy rating of 100%.

Went in today for a gander round, got to say, the quality on offer is pretty poor. I really hope Joma pick it up next season because I don’t think much of what’s in there justifies the price tag. Football merchandise rarely does in fairness, but ours especially.

The quality of the match day and training items are pretty average, but the designs and colour choices on top are pretty awful. When you look at what Adidas and Nike are offering to other Premier League clubs, I’m surprised Joma have got away with half of the tat in there.

Is it really a "compared to other Premier league clubs" thing? Can't say i look but locally, Adidas do sparta prague's stuff and it's laughably overpriced, pity really.

Sad to hear this though, was looking forward to taking my girls to the club shop on our summer trip......

It’s sh*t, no beating around the bush. Joma have given us three shirts including one we couldn’t wait to bin, then a couple of tops in that colour range, a faded green travel hoody and that’s it. Rest of the stuff in that shop is rank.

Wasn't one of the problems with a Big Name that they also don't pull out all the stops for little old Brentford. Nobody seemed impressed with Adidas stuff or their service when we were in the Championship. Umbro we got identical goalkeeper shirts to West Ham and Bournemouth, etc. Personally think Nike do a pretty poor job on the England kits, maybe they are better with PL clubs.

Joma could have at least had the advantage of being a big fish in a small pond.

I have to agree. Still can't get a simple car sticker, there's only 4 scarves to select from, 137 different baseball caps but only 6 half decent red/white/black bobble/beanies.

I got an Oxford and Cambridge polo for Christmas that I earmarked to wear for playing golf. 6 holes in and it had sandpapered my nipples to flat, bloody stumps. Try not to imagine a pasty, overweight 50-something applying his mate's blister plasters to his sore nipples on the 7th tee. Oh, too late, you've imagined it now.....

In fairness, all brands will create the same template that they share with other clubs. Look at a lot of the Adidas world cup stuff for example, a lot of cross overs on home and away kits.

But the quality of what Joma have provided us is really lacking.

Careful what you wish for. I've posted recently about the Spurs X Peppa Pig merch collaboration.
