Nigeria beat Benin 4-0 in the World Cup qualifiers with a Victor Osimhen hat-trick and a 4th goal from substitute, Frank Onyeka.
Benjamin Frederick had another great game and Nigeria qualify for the African World Cup playoffs as 2nd place team in the group, taking place next month in Morocco

I’m sure we’d have little problem selling him. Hopefully he’s happy with his progress and pathway at Brentford

Benjamin Fredrick

A target for RB Leipzig according to this article.
Unless he’s particularly attracted to Leipzig (not the most attractive city in Europe, unlike London), I think £1.3M and a 15% sell-on would be easily bettered here.

Benjamin Fredrick

I would suggest if he stays fit and is a regular starter at AFCON, his value is likely to well beyond the quoted figures.

Also RB Leipzig have dealt with us before over Bidstrup? So will know they would have to pay the going rate

I think the clock has run out for Meghoma which is a shame.
is this the standard Maghoma / Meghoma confusion or do you really think the young lad we signed for Southampton last season at full back has run out of road? If the latter, I think you’re mad!!!

I meant Paris of course. Meghoma is developing nicely.

gotta be with the first team next year, imagine being a world cup starter before he plays a minute of first team football for us😂😂

I wonder if the development of Fredrick, as well as Ji-Soo and Arthur, mean we are going to be willing to let Ajer go?
I think it more likely means we're preparing for interest in one or of both Collins and SvdB next summer and giving ourselves the contingency if we have to listen to realistic offers. I'm one of those that see the silver lining in games like Palace away as hopefully being off putting to clubs that could turn their heads.

I'm not saying for a minute I think we'll let both leave, but we said the same this summer about our forwards. Best to wait and see how the do for the rest of the season, the market next summer for CBs, which clubs come calling and what the intentions of those two are before we count our chickens.

Fantastic prospect, had a good performance for Nigeria today. Comfortable as a RB and CB. Would like to see him in the first team squad for next season.

Benjamin Fredrick

Having seen his assist I’m now wondering at the chaos when he and Kayode play together for us. Or if Kayode declares for Nigeria.

How about a chaotic trio of Fredrick, Kayode and Onyeka??!!
😄

I haven't seem too much of him play, but given that the Belgian outfit he is on loan at are bottom of the Belgian Prem and haven't won a game all season - might we see him move clubs in January and go on loan somewhere else?

Sounds like he won’t get more practice at defending than where he is!

Benjamin Fredrick

Yeah but being in a losing team week in week out won't do his confidence much good. I mean, who wants a player from a team of losers? Probably why we haven't signed a player from Notts Forest since Lee Harvey

Some more positive words. Had Aubameyang in his pocket apparently.

Looks pretty confident to me.

Just looked at the Belgian table – wtf is going on there???

Dender are a small club that spend most of their time in the lower divisions. Their ground only holds 6,000 and they get crowds of half that figure. That's tiny even by Belgian standards. They have risen rapidly from the 3rd tier but will always struggle in the top flight.

Do they play in red and white stripes?

Benjamin Fredrick

Sad for him as he was making his mark at international level. Good AFCON could have seen a kerching in PG's vault as well..

Benjamin Fredrick

Looking around today, i see he's still not involved for Dender... any news on whether he's expected back shortly?

There was something on X a few weeks back where he said to a Nigerian journalist he would be fit for the national team’s games in March, so hopefully close to a return for Dender.

Benjamin Fredrick

Hoping he's back for the big relegation battle against Cercle Brugge on 1st March as I'll be at the game

With only two matches of Dender's season to go (a two-legged relegation playoff final), Benji Fred won't be likely to be seen. Coming up on six months since he last played.
