Potential of playing first-team football in the Football League at AFCW vs. going into Development Squad of an ambitious Brentford FC. It's a tough decision for a young player to be fair.

Agreed-and I doubt there will be much difference in the wages offered. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out.

On a side note, we appear to be aiming for 9/10 players in the development squad-I guess when they play matches the squad will be made up of also youth teamers and first teamers who are not getting a game or coming back from injury?

Do you think "Fossie" has been offered the job of bringing on these youngsters (replacing Darryl) - it will certainly provide him with managerial experience and his style of football is the sort of stuff we will have to play against the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and these other "big clubs".

Tough decision as would be behind Karleigh, Leon and Pim and when the new manager comes in he is bound to want a few fresh faces.

Shame he never got a game towards the end of the season, has had some good reviews but the lure of 1st team football could be too big,

Ryan Blake changed his facebook status to something like "What a great time to get injured". Makes sense now

Anyone know who manages/will manage the Development Squad?

When it was announced, it was said that the squad would be within the realms of the youth set-up but the new youth team manager, Jon De Souza, was specifically announced as under-18 manager.

I see there are a lot of decent Liverpool players listed...

What are the chances of maybe seeing some of them on loan? People keep banging on about Schlupp.. good striker, I would have him back in a heartbeat, but what about the two in the Liverpool line up today?? Nathan Eccleston and Nabil El-Zhar?

Eccleston has been out on loan to Huddersfield and Charlton without massively bothering the scorers. Think I'd prefer Schlupp.

El-Zhar spent last season on loan at PAOK where he single handedly ruined the economy
