Our display was apparently so poor that the reporter has thrown him self off Beachy Head ,hence the lack of detail in the report

Hope we sign up a few of those Nike players! I guess the problem lies with the fact that there isn't much of a 'squad' so to speak of-reeves now a first teamer and Blake injured-leaves 3 I believe? Plus the youth team.

Very surprised we haven't got a few more signed up, wonder why the Bolton lad Maison wasn't at least given another chance to shine?

lol Marvellous. Two games into the season and with a potentially highly significant BFC venture still in its infancy, you're already questioning whether it's all been a waste of time. Priceless.

I think you might all be missing the point. It's called the development squad and it's sole purpose IMO is to develop youNg players and help them through the gulf between youth and league football.

I would far prefer a losing squad that produces a couple of real prospects who move into the first team squad, than a successful team that produces nobody.

I guess they are being choosey ( sp?) in who they want to develop .There's going to be a lot of time ,money and patience put into each member of the DS so getting who they feel are good prospects is critical to the programme. Maybe some of the Nike players from last week may get offers to join.

Really would have expected more players signed up by now. Are we still monitoring that guy who got two against Liverpool?

Well he's going down there, so I would have thought so, Maybe Spillane too? Maybe Ryan Dickson playing for Southampton?

1-0 at HT apparently? To Southampton. Dickson is playing, could be on his way out according to a Saints fan following the game. Not the best source, I admit.

It may of been from the pile of dead wood that Uwe is gathering to off load .Possibly one of Spillane's or Macs ?

Why no Luke Hacker again - has he fallen down a black hole? Seems to have disappeared off the radar like Spillane.
