The 5v5 event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday was pants.

It was cringe watching Hearn and Warren, who hate each other, sitting together, counting their money as the night went on.

The event was rubbish and fake. So much boxing it felt diluted to death. Reminds me of the Premier League.

Another sport the Saudis have ruined.

Disagree as all the fights were very good, well Zhang Wilder wasn’t but had the intrigue and explosive ending. Happy to put up with all the fake nonsense and just roll my eyes if we get high level competitive cards. 1.30am finish was a pain though. Rarely get such competitive cards from top to bottom. I would rather it was staged in the UK, but I’m reluctant to attend that often as get coked up tw*ts in the crowd thinking they’re fighters.

I would disagree, the one thing the Saudi money has done is cut out the politics between promotors and actually making fights happen. They all want some of the money!

A decent fight.
Controlled by CBS at the start and Riakhpore didn't have the energy later on to apply the power needed for a knockdown.

CBS wins on points !

More to come from both fighters I think.

Nicknamed 'the Gentleman' for a reason. Needs to steer clear of Opetaia but there are some decent fights out there for him.

He'll have a couple more fights to keep the cash rolling in. Great finish though, pure Rocky-esque two of them throwing but first to land wins.

AJs star feels as though it has been dwindling for a while now, even with his recent wins.

Hearn & Warren have denied us the fight of the century between Fury & AJ. That would have been generational.....alas, that's long gone now.

The irony is Joshua looked spent in that fight but landed that uppercut and the rest is history. The Ruiz fight ruined him..it seems to be the common blip of any heavyweights career, a shock, embarrassing defeat..but he never fully recovered from those two fights.
He got schooled by Usyk twice and walked around with a strange ego, feeling he had been hard done by.
The lead up to this fight, Dubois got under his skin and he looked rattled. He didn't look like he was right for the majority of this fight. Dubois was all over him and that finish was devastating.

Aj finished as an elite fighter but made a ton of money so fair play to him. Dubois excellent, deserves a crack at Usyk again

Unless he fights Jake paul, I doubt there's going to be any money in any of his fights anymore, if fury loses to usyk again, they might finally have a retirement fund match , but other than that, he's done, imo.

Agreed what's the point even trying to get that fight on. Both now past their prime.

Its wether the Saudis want him to fight again or not.
They are holding the folding here and will dictate who fights who,but AJ looked shot tonight and would be wise to take 2 or 3 easy fights to keep him in the frame or just call it a day.

That surprised and sort of impressed me.
He beat aging quality.
Downhill ever since and believes the psychobabble he talks.
Yes I’m grumpy because I had a small bet on DD in the first four rounds.
I was stopped by the ref only.
I’d bet my house there was big money on AJ and every ringside crowd shot should tell you it. Ref dragged it out as long as he could.

I was so pleased to see Dubios win. The boxer with not much to say, no way with words and completely unappreciated after every win he's had.... versus the pin up Under armour model who has had 1 top level win against a 41 year old Klitschko. He's beaten a lot of 2nd string heavy weights like Dylan White, the former Joseph Parker and Andy Ruiz (and lost of course). AJ was a good heavyweight of the last 12 years, a huge personality only beaten by his own ego and his promoters.

Make no mistake, Dubios is the real deal. He beat Usyk with the not so low blow, dismantled Hergovic and ended AJ's career.

Don't get me wrong, I think Usyk is still the best, but Dubois for me is right up there. Well done that man.

I’m glad Joshua got beat, as he’s been acting all hard for the last few fights and press conferences like he’s the world champ. His ring walk was arrogant too.
Saudi national anthem before the fight? .. I bet the ladies in the stadium loved that!

The Louis Theroux documentary on him is worth watching. You get a sense that he was trying to convince himself he still had the hunger for it.

Yes because it still puts bums on seats and generates an income.
They,The Sauds,have taken over and if they want the fight they get it and the promoters are just hanging in there with their boxers who will soon be The Saudis fighters not Hearns or Warren.
Boxing will have its LIV (Roman numerals for 54) moment,but no idea how many it will entice over.
40 would be XL .

The punches that sent Joshua down didn't even seem that explosive. I saw a clip of him sticking his tongue out to someone ringside moments before he got put down aswell. He's become a bit of a knob as time has gone by, he seemed quite humble when he first started. He needs to retire before he loses the few braincells he has left

I get the idea that a lot of successful boxers "act hard".
I think it's in the Job Description
