Catterall landed twice as many punches as Taylor and scored the only knock down.ROBBERY
Boxing is a rancid sport sometimes.
Would have been 116-112 as one of the deductions was for Catterall. Point still valid though at 8-4, an utter disgrace and found Taylor's reaction after the fight embarrassing and lacking class. I hope he can see how lucky he was after reflecting outside the heat of the moment. That decision last night is the reason why boxing maybe withdrawn from the Olympic Games.
The judge who scored 114-111, with a 3 point deduction, would have given Taylor 117.
That's 9 rounds out of 12.
Jack gets 3.
Think of it that way.
9 flicking 3 ?
Totally agree with everything you said.Would have been 116-112 as one of the deductions was for Catterall. I've never felt as much disappointment and anger towards poor judging than I had last night and I wanted Taylor to win. What's a real shame for Catterall is I've no doubt he'll come back and fight for world titles, but it's incredibly unlikely he'll have an opportunity to fight for all 4 major belts plus the ring magazine belt given the politics in boxing, and thus will possibly never get the chance to be considered undisputed King of the division, nor a pound for pound star. He was robbed of truly iconic history yesterday and to be amongst a very small list of real elite fighters that have held all 4 major belts at one time.
Major enquiry is a necessity here.
They had 1 point deducted eachWould have been 116-112 as one of the deductions was for Catterall.
Yes, plus the knockdown. The point I'm making is looking at it purely on rounds alone, that judge had Taylor winning 8 and Catterall 4 which is totally wrong. They had 1 point deducted each
Jack Catterall absolutely robbed by the judges against Josh Taylor.
Disgusting decision. Judging like that degrades the sport.
Does every boxer tummy wobble as much as Fury's?
I'll ask him next time. You can tell him yourself!! ??
Fury will make light work of whyte i think. Round 6/7

Joshua could not afford to lose to Tyson and that is why it didn't happen.Fury says he is done, not sure i believe it but if it is then its a huge shame we havnt seen him fight aj. Probably good news for joshua though
