Not really, he's just agreeing with him. I await the outcome of the letter writing to investors with interest. :)

If BU had done a better job of communicating over the years, then there wouldn't be people around to agree with posts like letsallgotolourdes's - imho.

I think he read about the club's situation in The Observer newspaper didnt he? Then contacted PG I think.

My understanding is that Mr Benham has been involved at the club for a while.

Well said and Abbott is sh*t anyway. He sold his soul for one real season of goalscoring and he is damaged goods after playing for that crap in West Yorkshire.:wave:

given matthew benham's magnificent gesture/ loan (thank you, matthew) fitz can start to plan for the future, albeit probably in the basement division.

at least we will be in business in the 2007/8 season.

we are now cut adrift of the other relegation candidates and it is time, imho, to plan for next year and a quick return to division one.

unless fitz gets lucky with a magnificent loan deal, there is no point in bringing someone in for the sake of it.... better to spend any spare time he has scouting non-league for next season.....

we'll bounce back. we have before and we will again.

The original investment of £500K was on the back of an article in The Independent.
I was referring to his latest investment and having a dig at the supporters who thought that BU were not looking for new investment or re-financing the current situation to save on costs.

It`s nearly three weeks since I told Fitz to sort out a cross between Shearer and Henry and all we get is - Zamora turned us down or Mido is not quite fit.:(

You might be in luck... apparently he's found someone with the pace of Shearer, the play-in-all-weathers attitude of Henry, the instinctive finishing of Heskey and the ball skills of Jamie Carragher.. :sorted:

Surely shouldn't we sign a right back and then put KO upfront. I remember him when he started he was fairly decent, had a good shot on him and could score goals in crucial games i.e. QPR, Norwich etc.

Don't want to get anyone too excited but in the video of Fitz's interview, on the tactics board behind him it has the name WALCOTT??? underlined three times.. :D :fishing:

oh, bugger.. late again... :-(
