Would like to see some fresh legs on Sat. Someone hungry and who wants to make a point.
Probably said elsewhere, but rumour has it that it Sheff Wed made it a condition of the loan that he DID play against them.![]()
C LI N T O N . . . See ya.
I thought that was unbelievable. Im 100% behind Sam taking a penalty and whilst Morrison might well have scored they should have all that sorted beforehand. It happened against Notts County last year when Sam tried to wrestle it off Simpson who, ironically, went on to hit the post![]()
It looked to me that Morrison was checking with Sam that he was OK to take it and giving him a pointer as to which direction to go; he then gave him a man hug and directed him to the spot. It didn't seem at all confrontational. Still, it's a good story to go down in the GPG Myths department.
Players should not give each other encouragement because it's unnecessary and a distraction? :shrug:Might not have been confrontational but it was totally unnecessary and a distraction.

Penalty taking needs a lot of personal focus to blank out any external distractions and get composed. I wouldn't want somebody all over me during that preparation period.

............totally agree............a skyward penalty could occur..........
Messi, Saunders and Donaldson: now you don't see that often in the same sentence!!!
Or ever likely to again...of course only one of these above has scored more goals than the entire Brentford team have in the league to date..............![]()

And the same person has missed the same amount of pens this season as our whole team has. Nobody is immortal.
63 goals in a season at that level of competition seems bloody immortal to me........If clayton can score 63 in a season I don't think we'd be overly fussed about him missing one up at Stevenage.
If he can score that amount in his career at brentford I will be happy. ( and surprised! )

Or more than Messi will score against Chelsea in his Barcelona career.![]()

don't worry! It happened right in front of us we were in the 2nd row, it was very confrontational by Morrison he was trying to wrestle to ball from Sam's arms and it was only when Dave became involved and basically told Morrison to f/off did he let go of the ball.
Hopefully we have seen the last of him, as with the last game being time for a younger player to get a look in with a view to next season.
Would be very un happy if he is part of the squad next season
PLEASE tell me that this is a wind-up:

..............wouldn't get into the GPG Vets team............not very good...........showed nothing today............
I thought he looked a bit porky at Chesterfield and still way off being match fit.
It's Uwe's mum again. He this is true could be as cover for centre half a, we are sport in that area, but doubt this is true
