Trust me, he was better than he was last week.
I'm not a manager out merchant but do feel the need to question things from time to time.
We're constantly told that the manager is hamstrung by AS's players, however two of his major signings have been replaced at various times throughout the season by loanees, both Logan & Eger.
This does suggest to me that either they're not Uwe's signings or he's making big mistakes. Bennett does look a liability and improvement today from last week would not have been difficult and did not impress today.
If we're looking this transfer window for players to make a push next year then I wish we could be told, it'd make watching a lot less stressful.
I would imagine he was brought in to replace Karleigh and provide cover at RB. Not sure if he's up to either to be honest.
He ain't no Karleigh that's for sure.
Nor is he a RB!
He looked good at centre back but he was out of his-depth tonight.
He was awful we leave out shalem for this rubbish, seems like warburton wants to sign his ex acdemy players from watford.
We don't want players who aren't good enough to get into the Watford team !....this is lazy scouting by Warburton.
Unfortunately, a centre back being played out of position. END OFF!!!!
If that is the case, it's more fuel for the manager out brigade.
There may be an issue with Shalum that we don't know.

Could it be that he is a Manchester lad with a girlfriend and young child miles away from his workplace, the constant journeys up and down motorways, not settling down south and also being injured and not showing his true colours recently, you may also throw in how bad his replacement has looked in the last 2 games, they could all be issues.

Wants to stay for the year: http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/...ford-defender-eyes-bees-stay-109642-30149498/
Personally id be happy for him to stay especially if Karleigh/Pim leave.
Please..... Not needed.

No thank you, I think 3 CB's for two places is adequate; if we pick up an injury we can loan one in or potentially call Pim back if he is sent out on loan somewhere else. Also Kev will return to fitness later in the season to provide cover at RB.
So presumably you dont think we need a fourth striker then?
Strikers and centre backs are different IMO-in many games you need to bring on a striker to change up the attack a bit. Centre backs if anything are better to stay stable.
Id rather we stick with the 3 Centre backs we have (Assuming pim and Karleigh leave) and invest the money elsewhere. If we get injuries we can get a loanee in, or use the development squad. Thats what its for after all!
I have to agree with this, Dean, Legge and Eger are enough cover for CB without annoying spare players who have to sit in the reserves. Kev would at the moment be providing a better challenge to Logan at RB than Bennett is currently doing (despite inexplicably him being 1st choice). No thank you, I think 3 CB's for two places is adequate; if we pick up an injury we can loan one in or potentially call Pim back if he is sent out on loan somewhere else.
