He is quite simply different class. I always thought he was good but it was not until he was not playing that I actually understood his value to the team. Other players we can replace more or less, but not Raya, as has been proved. I honestly think that if Raya had not been injured we would be 6 or 7 points better off, he is that good imo.

Last few games have demonstrated what a stand out player he is.

Not only his saves but also the fact it is like having another outfield player at the back. He is that good on the ball. A dragback vs Norwich and pushing the ball past the opponent out to the touch line vs Burnley. His passing is first class too all of which inspires huge confidence and is so intrinsic to our game now.

He is the player I fear losing the most and most likely to be the target for others I suspect. Personally feel he is a top 6 keeper and better than Loris at Spurs.

His progress over the last 18 months has been phenomenal. The fact that Arsenal wanted him prior to this progress is slightly concerning and I believe he's good enough for the top six. Newcastle worry me as they need a new keeper in the summer. He has to be worth 25m-30m!

Anyways, enough of the transfer talk. If he's with us next season, we'll, I genuinely believe we have a top 6 goalkeeper in our rank.

Yep totally agree. And as for his 2 back ups - why oh why did we let Luke Daniel's go. He would have been far better than either.

It was just a shame that Luke Daniels left, But it was his choice to move on I believe to be nearer to his family up north, We certainly missed David for those 14 games when we went into freefall, But what a fantastic difference he has made in front of our defence as they all look so much more relaxed and comfortable now, He commands and distributes the area so well, Something the other two couldn't master therefore putting defenders under pressure, He was like a new signing when he returned, I think 6 points from the remaining 9 games should see us through with his help, But remember it ain't over until it's over
