Just seen on Sky Transfer

Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson is having a medical ahead of a move to Arsenal.

If we sell him lets sell him. I dont want him back on loan. He's heart wont be in as much. Get the money move on a get a replacement who wants to play for us. If he would rather be second or third choice at Arsenal than us that tells me enough.

Or maybe he's not for sale and accepted that and is currently recovering from a knee injury.

Let's not make assumptions too quickly about his attitude towards Brentford.

Only players needed are those that want to play for Brentford , as far as I’m concerned you can add Benrahma to that .

The way things are Luke Daniels will give us cover for the next few weeks. The guy is living away from his family. Luke’s form at the moment is ok , no major mistakes, the problem could be what is the possibility that Balcombe is affected with Covid 19

Either way I doubt he will be on the Bench on Saturday. He should be isolating, although football may be different, may be.

The £10M figure has been repeated right from the beginning but it just seems odd to me. Why would Arsenal come in with a £10M bid for a Championship 'keeper? Wouldn't they try £4M or £5M, representing a profit for BFC? Wouldn't they know Rúnarsson was available for under £2M?

Agent talk? A £4-5m bid would obviously be met with a laugh and not suggest he had any hope of actually playing. £10m sounds a hefty fee that makes him sound like a big star and is a lot for a Championship goalie so hopeful that the general reaction would be we should cash in. Or, more succinctly, a load of tosh.

Yes, I want loan signings and currently a Right Back loan would be nice. But I dont believe in loaning your former players back.

I've no idea but the bit about Brentford willing to do business for £15m and a loanback is not correct. The mantra continues to be that he is NOT FOR SALE.

This remains a load of nonsense, surely. One Twitter account claims his wages and length of contract have been agreed but admits Brentford still haven't accepted a bid for a player repeatedly flagged as not for sale (oh but he's very very keen to move, in case you hadn't read that already)? And they already have the back up keeper they need for this season as of today? Feels like someone pressed Control + V and accidentally brought last week's rumour back. Or the agent pressed all the panic buttons.

I'm still reading it and commenting on it though, like everyone else.

That's the same £10M bid that started this whole thing off, although other sites have raised the stakes to £15M, plus a fully-salaried loan back, chauffeured limo and 24 months of Swedish massages for our directors of football, it seems.

There's a certain type of way that Arteta will want to play at Arsenal, and it will be similar to the way Guardiola likes his football played. In this setup, keepers like Raya are far more valuable that I think a few on here realise. Raya is the sort of keeper that terrifies the old fashioned football fan, too short, too risky, probably too modern for their taste. I think he's worth more to us than 15 million, and more to them than 15 million too.

All the goals we scored last season weren't purely down to the players that scored them, and all the goals we kept out weren't all to do with our new look defence. He is also essential to the way we play, and Daniels cannot replace him.

If we sell for 15 mill plus, then I hope we either loan him back or find similar.

Ikor Cassilas - he did alright too didn’t he? (At least in his early years) -he is just under 6’

Can't believe we'd reject 10 million. He hasn't featured and if he was OK with staying he'd have had games. So he wants out. No place for a disgruntled player. Daniels is safe and will be fine. Sell him.
