You know l'm right?The filthy lucre wins.Shilton was a different class and could keep going.lts a short career.Put it this way. I love Brentford fc. If I played for them and SC Napoli wanted me with a big pay rise, l'd be off quicker than a rat out of a drainpipe.?

I'd be amazed if he was 'gruntled' as neither Arsenal nor Brentford have denied that there has been an approach however casual and probably requested to be off the record.

The Bees United match report from Birmingham and by a BFC director who was at the game and presumably had the latest situation gossip told us that Daniels was in for the 'injured' Raya........ if the deliberate inverted commas insert wasn't a wink wink from a BFC director that Raya was not 'gruntled' then I don't know how else it could be interpreted.

Goalkeepers who keep fit and focused can fairly routinely keep going a lot longer than outfield players. I think their plateau comes later than outfield players and loss of pace isn’t an issue. Much of their role requires anticipation and decision-making and experience helps that.

I am not convinced selling Raya and then getting him back on loan. Raya will be an Arsenal player and will his mind be on it. Equally, one mistake and you can imagine the stick he will get from our fans. If a players leaves let them leave. I remember the case of Jack Clark when he signed from Leeds to Spurs and then subsequently loaned back. Not sure it was a successful loan move back. So I have my doubts on this

exactly, when it says they have agreed person terms on a specific salary of 40k but then says something stupid like Brentford have not agreed a fee then you know none of it can be true.

You could say the same for every player who has ever been on loan in the history of the world but they are still very successful.

Daniels has done well............ But if hes benched is Raya fit enough?? If so should he start?

I would guess that is the case. Not fully fit but better then having no keeper on the bench.

Maybe Raya is the ONLY available option for the reasons you start. But only for an emergency,. ?‍♂️

Although daniels has done great so far i doubt we would have turned down many millions for raya to play him in the odd cup game
