Bit of a difference between these two cases...I don't think anyone wishes Pep goes to prison and forfeits all his wealth...or even City leadership. It's a sporting sanction.

But I think the majority of people would like to see Sullivan pay for his deeds, if true.

If she knew and was principled, she wouldn't have even joined them at Birmingham.

I suspect when she knew it was coming out, then she decided to leave West Ham.

For someone like Brady who purports to stand up for women, she comes out of this very poorly indeed. At best, she would have been aware of the rumours for years and chose to believe they were made up, without digging further. At worst, she had proof, but chose to do and say nothing and work for Sullivan. Disgusting.

Watched the programme and read accompanying article. The information presented paints him as a very nasty, dirty, depraved individual, but is that anything we didn’t suspect already?
Police likely to reopen investigations. Although, criminality seems challenging to prove given the time and evidence not being collected during earlier allegations/arrest.
Potential parallels to the Al Fayed situation (apart from Sullivan’s alive) with Civil cases being brought against him?

Agreed, but we also saw with Epstein and Al Fayed that they aren’t as bullet proof as they imagine

The fact that the country's biggest pornographer pushed himself onto young models is one of those "bear sh*t in the woods" stories.

Obviously very wrong, but is anyone truly surprised. Probably the same happened at every "hostess" club in the country too.

Oh and the "casting couch" was called that for a reason.

Not giving excuses. Far from it. But my "supriseometer" didn't move from zero.

Not seen the documentary. However I am now even more proud of my daughter who after we beat WHU at home 3-2 as we drove past DS in his roller on the M25 cheerfully told him via colourful sign language the score and then called him a w***er. 😎

Indeed little in the programme is surprising based on what we know about his career and his character.

I'd suggest what has come out so far is not quite in the Russell Brand Panorama allegations league not that that is a bar that anyone should be pleased to clear.
There are some serious allegations but I'd tentatively suggest there is a lack of an explicit allegation from these that might get him locked away, let alone any likelihood of being convicted. The programme said, he invited two models to his home, offered reach of them sex in return for being a top model at the Sport and they said no. He asked another and they did and she didn't want to but is hazy over her memory of how she communicated it at the time. It's truly awful to hear the accounts - It's all massive power politics from a rich man to women who wanted to be famous. He's obviously a massive pr*ck - and it may be there are more serious allegations prompted by this programme and what has come out here.

Half of the programme was reporting things that the Sport freely published at the time and pointing out how morally bankrupt was - which is true but it's not new information, just builds the character profile of him as a very bad man.

My girlfriend nearly got a job in the commercial team at West Ham a couple of years ago. 10000% glad she didn't get it now. Might have been laid off anyway by now given their terrible fortunes lately but I cannot imagine how I'd feel working for a business owned by that guy.

His only mitigation is that he’s in that minority who are U.K. taxpayers… still a nasty piece of work, though.

For personal reasons I’m not going into details, and deliberately not mentioning any names, I hope all the fat, middle-aged perpetrators of the London sex scene in the 70-90s eventually get nailed to the wall and suffer as much as the countless girls who’s lives were ruined (or worse) by drugs, exploitation and false promises of stardom.

Very poor that it wasn't made public knowledge and more done about it after that. Can only assume he managed to get media gags etc.

The FA should be ashamed of themselves all the same though, to make findings worth preventing an owner from even going to watch youth and women's games of "his" team yet keep him on as "fit and proper" for the mens team is absurd and disgusting.
These twisted "people" don't need little slaps saying please keep away from women and children, they should be ostracised completely.

A West Ham mate of mine is not surprised by the findings and a few have suspected for many years he was a wrong un.
Proving it was not easy and in Sullivans eyes he was the man who could make you famous.
He was no different to people like Max Clifford and The bouncing Czech Maxwell.
All they want is justice for the girls and him gone from their football club.

That is some revelation to be made public about the girls and youth teams though.
