Probably none. Or was that sarcastic? Surely not, there's not a lot of that on here is there.

No, when I'm being sarcastic, you won't realise. :sorted:

There's a lot of factual statements on here that turn out to be nothing more than hearsay on here, so I was just enquiring.

How many times have you seen Rotherham play this season?

I think it's more likely that he's playing alongside someone else which he didn't do for most of last season.

:sorted:
Playing alongside Butler will be of great assistance. Can't imagine Mick Harford managing a team thats playing too much neat football.

Deon who?

releasing him it now seems is up there with claridge in the list of MAs biggest mistakes(come on he doesnt make many though does he?)him and owuso could have been so good together :(

I don't think we could afford both

I wasn't a massive fan of his; but how much is fitzgerald on compared to him?

Someone may have a more authoritative answer but I would guess about half as much.

Deon who?

Does it really matter? He's gone, we're top. Good luck to him but that was then and this is now (as ABC would say).

Deon who?

remeber that goal against wednesday in the league.

*drool*

Deon who?

Deon was reportedly on 1.5k a week last season. Just try and fit that into a budget that also pays for Owusu, Newman, Brooker, Skularson and Tabb, and that's without the rest of the squad!!!

In short he wasn't released because Martin liked Fitz or Rankin over him he was relsesed because we couldn't afford to keep him, end of discussion.

Deon who?

Dont people think the reason he is scoring this season is Rotherham play quite neat football and we dont. just a thought

Wouldn't Fitz and Eyes wages have covered the afros?

:)

Deon who?

Perhaps they would but they both had contracts for this season already so they could have been transfer listed at best.

id have him ahead of fitz or rankin anyday
:banghead:

Did you completely disregard what Luton Bee said

If Allen had his time again he may well have got Rankin and Fitz contracts to the end of 04/05 but as he didn't there was no other choice.

And it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Rankin and Fitz are on less combined than Deon was.

Deon who?

i am pretty sure we could have released a few other players to keep on deon, its not just becasue he is scoring for rotherham but it was a big mistake, one that we now have to forget. He is no longer a bees player so lets just stop wanting him to be one. We have to just support the players we have and hope that our strikers can soon start to score.

Lets just end this now, allen made a decision (whether he was forced to or not becasue of wages) end of!!!!!!

And made an already small squad even smaller.
The likes of Fitz or Rankin couldn't be released as they both under contract and would have needed paying off!!
Can we just move on from this subject, just because he is scoring for Rotherham at present doesn't mean he would have for Brentford. He has never been a 15 - 20 goal a season man and with the season still young he may well not be this season. We have scored goals from several different players rather than one source, they do however still count. :sorted:

Deon who?

i hope he scores down here and then he holds his hands to his ears to mock the brook road fans then we can all hate him forever and move on.

Deon who?

as i recall deon does have a history of scoring goals against us....

That was deflected. Should have been an own goal.

Deon who?

Good goal too! But he hardly ever got a scuff-in. Least Rotherham lost! What's with Saafend this year?

Deon who?

Sam needs to wind him up in the tunnel and then get him sent off

worried YES :(

It was a penalty

Deon who?

Wonder what odds you would get now that he scores more goals for Rotherham by Christmas than he did for us all season?

Deon who?

Owusu has got one, plus he has put in a massive performance that I doubt you saw and one that I didn't see. Shame he has been struggling with injury and like Deon is not a win the ball in the air merchant against Heywood as he needed to be on Saturday.

Good luck to Deon, never wish any bad on ex players except Rowlands, but he was wrong for us. Even you must know that.

Deon who?

i don't count penalties. so that only makes 5?

He was wrong for us as he never looked like scoring, we gave him a goal and then the Deon of old kicked in. A couple of nice traps and then the usual nothing. Give me a couple of triers any day up front.

How many times did we come from behind last year? We would have lost 1-0 last year.

You sh!t!!!
