thought he looked cack yesterday

That's because he was.
Gifted a goal and a couple of decent traps!! :D
Same as last year plus a goal.

Deon who?

Two things i noticed.

He didnt celebrate the goal and he knew how to get free kicks off Sodje. End of.

Deon who?

He was as ineffectual for them yesterday as he was for us most of last season. Also looked very porky. One of the most overrated players we've had.

wel done to Sam and Michael

Good point.
However MB was noticed for being a bit of a poofter again. Dark alley, me and Marty meet and methinks his little hand signals wouldn't happen.
There are a few players who you would consider hard men, Martin isn't one of them! rofl

I think its worth saying how well Burton reacted to scoring against us yesterday. He didnt even really celebrate it at all, thought it was a nice gesture from him and credit to him for it.

I liked deon and thought he was a class act. He still scored against us and after the stick he gets he showed the class not to give it large, he under celebrated.

Top man, always welcome at GP. He gave it everything for us, didn't want to leave and still showed respect when he played against us. Not the same can be said for half the bees fans!

Agreed. Fair play to Deon especially for managing not to celebrate his goal.
He was a class player for us, I clapped him before the game hurled abuse towards him for 90 minutes and clapped him off at the end, seeing as we'd won. :sorted:

Nice one Deon! Me and a mate had Deon to score 1st and Bees to win 2-1! 70-1! Get in!

I had the same, but two seperate bets and it earned me £40 :sorted: and 2 of my mates had £10 each on him to score the first at 7-1

Yes, when he was fouling our players, but that's about it

Bad Mr Butler :nono: Whatever happened to your career?

Or let the returning hero score?

Our ex players always score against us but ous never score against their old teams.

not a bad goal yesterday

If that had been scored by Rooney or Henry, all the media would be wetting their pants over it. :sorted:

Least he'll nice Christmas holiday then.....

Deon who?

To be honest, if I was a Rotherham fan or even player, manager or director, I'd be fuming at this seemingly "precious" behaviour.

He's done really well for them for all of half a season & now it seems to me he feels that a Div 1 relegation battle is beneath him. If he didn't fancy playing for Rotherham, he shouldn't have signed on in the first place last summer....acting like a Premiership nonce in my humble opinion.

Always liked him as a player, as most of us did, & I don't feel he was underrated here at all, but is this the sort of man you want in your side when the going gets tough???

To be honest IMHO Lloyd hasn't been blessed with one tenth of Deons' natural ability, we all know he is not the worlds deadliest finisher, but even after glaring misses, he will still be in there giving it his all, he NEVER hides from a challenge, & I'd have to say I'm very happy with our No.9 right now

:owusu:

Maybe they sold the club as one who were going to fight for promotion and he feels let down?

Deon who?

You can still sign them can't you? Just thought you couldn't play them? :imwith:

Or is that balderdash?

Deon who?

You can certainly sign a contract that he will join in January.

Lets Buy Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh wait, we have no money.....

Maybe he was rightly p!ssed off with the treatment of the man who took him to the club.:sorted: Top man if this is the case.

Deon who?

he did enjoy his time here, i think if we had the money hed be happy to come back. if we lose scott p permanantly and dobbo/koc to reading, maybe we cud scrape together enough? i think him and :dj: would be terrifying

We would have a very good strikeforce. Three very different options, :owusu: with his strength, :afro: with his ball control and :dj: with his pace.

Can't see it though unfortunatley! :(

But would Deon be happy playing right back?

Deon who?

I would love to see Deon back at GP. I always thought he would be better in an attacking midfield role rather than out and out striker. Maybe he could be a Pratley replacement?
