I'd have thought had the progressed in the UCL and if there EL campaign is successful then Benham and Ankersen will spend copious amounts of time crisis crossing Europe going to watch...hopefully they go out against Soton

One of the advantages BFC has is the combined resources and experiences of the two clubs. It would be better for BFC if FCM has a great season as there will be a reason that BFC can learn from and gain advantage. If FCM is having a bad season, it will divert attention from BFC.
Anyway, I am seriously considering going on Thursday.

TBH, I doubt it'd make a shred of difference how FCM do (and BFC for that matter) as to the time and resources that are put into each club. Both times had good seasons last year although we fell short at the last hurdle but that was nothing to do with FCM's success
I was going to say I don't give a flying **** what you think but no, you seriously need to lighten up mate. it's a game of football on a night when Brentford aren't playing and it's 20 mins from where I live, not that distance should matter anyhow. Why are you not all over the "Other Non-Brentford games you've been to" thread like a rash telling people you're embarrased they've watched Hampton, Staines, Ashford, QPR!! etc etc. I've got my ST this year, will try and get to all the homes and a fair share of the aways when work etc permit and Brentford games will always take preference so, if I want to spend £15 to watch a European game, I think i've every right to and you know what, I don't feel in the least bit embarrased. I suppose I could have just watched it on TV, like any Premiership, Championship, CL game and saved myself a night out but by your logic, that'd be embarrasing too. I assume you don't watch any other teams on TV ? Nah, thought not. We can moan left right and centre about some of the people on Twitter, FB etc but you know what, the last week or so on the GPG has shown there are plenty of idiots on here too

As I posted above, I'll probably go as it's not too far for me. I am one of those who cannot bother with football matches in which I have no personal interest; hence I cannot see the appeal of Sky/BT Sport to watch games that I do not have one side to support, a dead waste of time and money. I may go to a neutral game if, for example, there is an ex-Bees player. This game means I have a side to support, so it is both local and interesting to me.
Is that embarrassing?

I support Brentford. To actually 'sell' another clubs tickets on your own website I find really weird... I guess it's up to the individual but I'd rather everyone devoting their time in one direction to be fair. How Rasmus is Chairman of one and a Director of another As well as everything else he does I would rather people all be on our cause.

Personally don't see the issue. There is a connection via the ownership and they're hardly a rival so no need to become all tribal on this one.
Are any Brentford fans going to be converted to FCM at the expense of BFC, definitely not. If people fancy going to watch them where's the problem? It doesn't personally interest me but I can't see any major embarrassment with tickets being available on our site.

At the end of the day benham has spent enough money on us to not have to justify using the brentford site to advertise/market an oppurtunity for us to go and support a club we have links with. What is so wrong with if youre not interested in fc midgy or going to watch them then simply ignore that bit and browse past it.......

Surely someone from the club has seen that some fans have expressed an interest in going along to support them and have created an easy way to help fans purchase tickets? It doesn't clash with a Bees game so why get annoyed by it? If you're seriously bothered by this then I worry for you.

Midtjylland had been inundated with inquiries about the match and this was the easiest way to meet that demand. It's not for me, personally, but I see nothing wrong with making it as easy as possible for those who do want to go.

If they have a terrible season, it would make sense for the owner and director of football to focus on making it better, thus taking their time away from BFC.

Yep I don't see a problem with this at all. I do a bit of music promotion and our group will always promote other nights as long as they don't clash with ours. Helps make friends and in the long run reflects well on you.
I have no problem being associated with a successful club that a lot of people want to know about. By default in being interested in FCM they will also notice BFC. Nothing but win really.
