Jack Warner and Mohamed Bin Hammam have lodged their appeals with the Pixies at the end of the garden and are confident the charges will be dismissed, as soon as Mr Blatter's re-election is confirmed.

I hate Warner as well but they all need to be punished and removed because their all bloody dodgy. Getting rid of Warner alone wont make Fifa a fair organisation, there will just be one less thieving bastard. I would like us to do what Aus have done and ask for a refund on their bid.

Its OK, there is no crisis according to Blatter just a few problems they will sort out internally.

Brazil 2014 is all fine and there is no need for a rerun of the 2022 world cup bid.

What it needs is for every member organisation to follow the Fa's lead and abstain from voting in the ridiculous leadership election in protest. Alas, I just can't see that happening.

Blatter has been annoying the hell out of me for years, todays press conference has shown how delusional he is. Hes like one of these dictators that doesnt know that he should move on. What galls me just as much is how weak our FA is, if our FA had any backbone whatsoever they would be standing up to Blatter and saying NO! Blatter and the like are only interested in lining their own pockets. Its also ridiculous that the financial powerhouse countries of football such as England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Argentina, Brazil have so little say in how the game is run but representatives from such football association 'strongholds' like Trinidad, Paraguay, Qatar, Barbados & Papua New Guinea are given so much power

And we seem to pander to these idiots just to keep them happy.Qatars 2022 World Cup is as much of a farce as is FIFA.Problem lies within EUFA,we leave FIFA now then we have to leave EUFA too unless we get backing from them we can do something.Can you see Platini supporting that? Sadly no at the moment.

I despise these people. This is not new. I watched a BCC documentary a few years ago when panorama followed warner around for a year and was uncovering all kinds of shinanigans like taking all trinidads wc qualifying tickets, selling them up to 10 times face value and "donating" the proceeds to a sports company that, after investigation, turned out to belong to Warner. This guy followed blatter around leveling all sorts of accusations at him along similart lines and he just brushed him out the way.
For blatter to now pretend it is all new just adds insult to injury.

All sponsors and the FA should pull out and form a new federation.

They don't live in England mate!!.

When it was formed, we wanted no part of it, hence we do not hold much influence. We joined later.

I'd be interested to see what would happen if the most powerful nations lost confidence in FIFA and tried to set up an alternative body.

Not strictly true as I understand the four nations do have some special status in FIFA and influence in areas like the Rules Committe or something prominant as well as I believe a "GB" permanent seat on the Exec Committee, which is why our rep rotates.

But as much as we expose corruption and press for change the sad thing is too many nations see nothing really wrong with it all and will vote Blatter in. I wouldn't back on Warner not making a comeback as well after it is all over.

Anyway, The FA are just as much a doddering shower of s***s and we are the laughing stock of the footballing world, even The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis are smirking at us... nobody like us, we don't care.

The manner he dismissed the allegations of corruption as simply British lies was astonishing. If they're all like that then we might as well give up to be frank.

To many country federations, it is pay-back time to The FA. For more years than anyone can remember, our English FA has had a revolving door of elderly chairmen and assorted old farts who have contributed nothing to the English game and allowed the Premier League and Sky to rip us and the rest of the world off. We have failed to develop out own grass-roots while luring in the best players from other countries. This arrogant "old colonial" attitude had got right up everyone's noses for 60 years.

There may be plenty wrong with FIFA but we've got to start with our FA if we want to play 'holier than thou'.
