GPG Technical Issues

Whilst trying to fix one problem (old internal GPG links from the old forum software), we've created other issues.

This evening (Wednesday) we will be changing various configurations on the forum software and the server to resolve this issue.

You may encounter some interference. So be careful before you write a very long post, it may not work when you press "Send".

Earlier I had a box asking me for my username and password (which I couldn’t remember) so I thought I’d never be able to log into the GPG again. Immediately my thoughts and prayers were for all the other users ? ?

You're probably looking at a URL that doesn't exist anymore. type in "griffinpark.org" and all will be fixed.

The 'lighting flash' (top right) shows new posts as expected....

For me using Chrome its no big issue but may help the techy guys. If I go on my search bar and type G then the new posts page comes up automatically, if I click on that I get file not found. However if I go to Google and then the GPG website its no problem, goes through as normal.

Clear your Chrome cache, you've got the old URL stored.

1 and 2 are now fixed. Don't know where to look on 3. Maybe users have to disable and then re-enable.

Suddenly getting a solid run of 23 twitter posts on the right hand column before I get any of the latest posts or new threads. Only started doing this on Wednesday or so. Twitter's fine, but I don't want to have such a long list before I can get to what I really want: activity of the GPG itself.
