Yes, although in his last appearance with Brugge, Nusa ran into Thiago’s knee and caused an injury. I have wondered a few times if that could be connected, and didn’t turn into a full-fledged injury until he started playing with intensity again

Going by some of his goal celebrations at Club Brugge I hope we’re going to be ready for when he scores his first goal at the Gtech. He’ll probably end up in the crowd and get a booking, of course.

And with his size and enthusiasm I can see him getting more bookings than goals in his first few games.

He may well have a long and injury free career but that absolutely doesn't mean that we would have been wrong not to have signed him.

You have to think about probabilities at the moment of decision not outcomes post decision. For example, if someone jumps out of a second storey window and emerges unscathed that doesn't mean it was a wise decision to jump!!

I agree, I to am sure that Thiago will be fine, yes the club have paid a record fee, and we anticipate a step up in forward power. I also agree with the previous poster, who counsels caution. Igor has not played a single game yet, should produce performances below expectations then he would not be the first record signing to disappoint. There have been numerous examples of record signings failing so let’s look forward to Igor playing, but hang fire on elevating him to superstar status until he has played a few games.

He played the first half of the pre-season friendly against Wimbledon and scored twice. Impressed me (if that means anything!)
