Loved the physicality, the ball retention, the lay offs. He absolutely gave the Toon centre backs a bashing all afternoon. It gave Bryan much more freedom out wide & allowed Wissa to drop deep, link play & generally be a complete pain to Newcastle for most of the match. He showed footballing intelligence in his play and his enthusiasm & joy was infectious. Ok he didn't get a clear shot on goal but that will come.
Ivor & the Bees are going to be a very formidable partnership.

I think we are watching a player who not only loves football,but loves the club he is at.
True to say he has to adjust to the pace of the Premier league,but his physicality will give centre halves something to think about out and Schar and Burn found that out yesterday.
Thiago will love playing for Brentford and Brentford will love him.
That first goal is so important and when it comes i want to be there because that will be some celebration.
