I actually thought he didn't look as big as had been mentioned, though perhaps that was just because he was mostly stood next to Tarkowski.

Won some headers and a couple of nice lay offs, as said a very tough time to play as a striker with only 10 men, very little of the ball and lacking in support. He seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by the fans at the end which was nice to see.

Hey Jude- at beginning and end, maybe once during the match
Freed from Desire- when Wissa scores

Thomas Frank’s Barmy Army/He knows exactly what we need/Give us a wave
Red Army/you reds (even when playing away and against a team actually wearing red when we’re in pink or green)

The Schade song is way too fast and wordy for the majority to sing and anyway he’s not in favour. The Toney/Mbeumo/Rico song is not really up to date. The Ajer song could catch on but he ends up injured before it does. Not really much in the way of other player songs (maybe an occasional Jensen never gives the ball away).

No Sergi I wanna know. No Pontus Jansson’s magic. We seem to have decided bus stop in Hounslow is cringe and obviously there’s controversy over Oh West London.

Maybe we could give Igor the Owusu and get him to do the loft.

There was a terrible moment on the tube 2 seasons ago heading back from an arsenal game where some arsenal fans were discussing Brentford’s lack of interesting, complex or clever songs and concluded, our away support is too small and hasn’t been to enough European matches to concoct anything good over the recent years.

it’s true.
Maybe we can find a solution?

Not sure why lots of people think Igor is a shoe in to start now that's he's back playing. Even without the injury i was expecting him to be ease in this season and only start when Wissa/Bryan aren't available. Great asset to come off the bench.

Not sure he will start straight away as I guess Wissa has the CF shirt unless TF decides to play both.

The team has more or less picked itself this season but with Thiago and Nunes back ( and hopefully Rico before long) TF has welcome selection headaches to deal with so it will be interesting to see how he deals with it.

Will be exciting to have enough players to pick a team based on specific matches. TF seems to like to work out how to get his best 11 on the pitch.

Yes, met them at the beer cart, bought them a water and some crisps. Lovely people. Told them he would get a good reception, that he came to the right club and that we were all behind him. He clearly enjoyed it. Should be amazing when he comes on at the G Tech.

They were on the same train back as us. At Waterloo the three of them were chatting in what I thought was Portuguese. I really should have said hello. ?‍♂️?‍♂️

Call me miserable, and not really sure why, but I didn't really like the playing of "Gold" for him during the post match lap of appreciation....
Presumably just a one off for his home debut, but still left me feeling a bit uncomfortable for some reason....

Yeah a bit strange.Always wonder if some ' chant deprived ' players get a bit narked by those bagging the best tunes.Ethan,Matty,Christian etc are as equally loved but Vitalys every touch is widely celebrated in song.

They are probably wise enough to know that as a generic fan base we are simply too lazy / stupid to think up good chants for all the squad. Nothing personal lads ?

Only on the pitch for 25 mins but I'd go as far to say this is as excited I've been about a player on my first watch since Benrahma. For me it's all about natural attributes: pace, strength, physical presence, good touch and a natural football brain (his positioning, including switching up with Wissa and also covering for KLP when he went upfield showed how switched on he is).
