Just by chance I got chatting to an FC Bruge fan on a train on Saturday. He only had good things to say about our new striker, he is strong, runs all day and causes any defence problems. He said that he was sorry that Thiago was leaving the club but believed that he would adjust to the EPL quickly. Good to hear....

I remember saying more or less the same thing word for word to a Colchester fan I met on a train. About Keith Bowen. It worked a treat.

Hadn't realised this, so had a quick look on the great website below. Seems like there are a few players with squad numbers in the 40s (e.g. Declan Rice kept 41 when he moved from West Ham to Arsenal) but only academy graduates over 50. Rico Lewis seems to have the highest at 82.

Igor wore 18 at Cruzeiro and 9 at Ludogorets. The former's available at Brentford...
