With Thiago's injury I am concerned about Thomas Frank. We know he wants to add layers to the team and elevate our play beyond the low block and counter. Reshuffling what we already have is not adding layers as was the case last season. I still see more signings over the next 4 weeks or so.

You've only gone and done it.

No questions of the medical staff needed if one of them gets done before the season starts, it'll be your fault!

And we have just proven spending 30M on a new player doesn't insure us against that. So no point buying another one who is just as likely to break as the 4 we already have.

I think you'll find it's my wife's unreserved right to blame me for everything. I'm not taking our injury list on my shoulders too!

Another way of looking at it is.....

If a scan showed up anomalies in the knee tissues as a possible secondary injury risk due to the original hyper-extension in the knee joint and elective surgery was required to mitigate and minimise further injury....would a club proceed with that procedure in the knowledge that he'd be out until October and miss out on a potentially high incoming transfer fee?

(talking in general terms and specifically not about Thiago btw).

Don't start being all rational, mhead.

Some on here would have you believe that all players are either injury prone, or not, so if we only sign players from the latter list we never have to worry about injuries again...And signing a player that has previously had any sort of injury is asking for trouble.

Someone needs to tell him Tesco do delivery. He shouldn’t be risking further injury like that. It can be absolute carnage in Tesco. Does the scooter even have airbags? ?

I know the NFL bores most people stupid and I know that the article doesn't mention a specific recovery time but it does say he will miss the entire season which runs from early September to the first week of January (assuming a team doesn't make the play offs).:(

Lets hope Igor's path to recovery isn't the same length

As the resident Vikings fan on here, this is 100% more cautious with JJ based on the fact he could probably be back around December/January time but by that time, the season is essentially over and we won't be in the playoffs. Add in to the fact he's 21 and is the future of the team, they won't be rushing him
