Well said, I agree. When you think that Arsenal, for example, could actually do with having someone like Chris Wood up top, goes to show that sometimes the old and tested ways are still applicable today. They seem to be a dying breed in the modern game.
I was sat behind the dugout and didn’t see him there (Josh Da Silva was and other players rested e.g. Norgaard and Janelt) although may have been in directors box or elsewhereWas he there today?
Exactly. I remember how gutted we were when we told Aaron, Rico and Josh would be out for years."Weeks" would be good news!
How can we miss him? We don't even know if he's any good yet. ?Games like today and Forest at home are where we miss him most. Our attack is fantastic when we can get in behind but seems to struggle whenever anyone sits deep and gives us no space. So many crosses into the box with no real target to aim for.
I could’ve said we missed Ivan if you like? It’s not specifically about how good he is, more the profile of the player and him offering something completely different up top.How can we miss him? We don't even know if he's any good yet. ?![]()
Oh No chilblainsTrimmed beard, smiling, standing comfortably, no socks. Interested what the medical and psychological experts on here make of that.View attachment 52672

Apart from the fact that he is stationary and we can’t tell if he’s got full mobility of his injured knee, he’s wearing the trademark Thiago ‘smile’ which I think is a good sign.Trimmed beard, smiling, standing comfortably, no socks. Would prefer to see him in full kit, but at least it's an upgrade on the wheelchair in tescoTrimmed beard, smiling, standing comfortably, no socks. Interested what the medical and psychological experts on here make of that.View attachment 52672

What a smile, but what are those on his feet ?Trimmed beard, smiling, standing comfortably, no socks. Interested what the medical and psychological experts on here make of that.View attachment 52672
Very disappointed in how the players are dressing these days. We really need Big Tel to come back in a double breasted club blazer and tie. No nonsense ?Zanka's offloaded some drip before going to the States
I'm never EVER forgetting that photo ??Would prefer to see him in full kit, but at least it's an upgrade on the wheelchair in tesco
I'm excited and frustrated about him !When I first saw the news I thought it was something he'd been smoking...Do we even know which joint was infected? Presumably the knee that was operated, in which case that may not bode well for an early return.
My daughter in law had infection of a knee a couple of years ago and it took near a year to get better , bloody hope not for Igor sake and oursDo we even know which joint was infected? Presumably the knee that was operated, in which case that may not bode well for an early return.
Now thats just silly….everyone knows it’s the hubba bubba pipe they use..?When I first saw the news I thought it was something he'd been smoking...
Just part of the hierachy. Every goal you score gives you a week off from trimming. The beard trimming has disappointed me a little ?
Add a stetson and loan him to ZZ Top for 6m?I'm hoping he looks like this by May...
(err that image went a bit bigger than intended!)

We'll need to recruit another striker as well. Clearly we cant pin next seasons hopes on a player who is uproven at this level and may or may not be fit.He won't be back at 100% until the start of next season and a whole injury free pre-season. Just in time to replace Wissa, who'll be off in the summer
Yes. I saw him. He’s gone clean shaven hence I think another poster who must sit near me didn’t see him.Was he there today?
I agree we'll need to buy if potentially Wissa and Mbeumo both depart in the summer. But we're unlikely to get a 'proven' PL striker to replace him. All of our strikers have been 'unproven' at this level until they have effectively 'proven' themselves, that includes Toney, Mbeumo and Wissa, none of whom had played in the PL before. We'll need to recruit another striker as well. Clearly we cant pin next seasons hopes on a player who is uproven at this level and may or may not be fit.
Part of his new sponsorship deal. The whole outfit was provided by Trotters Independent Trading.A very nice cashmere overcoat. Glad the lad’s keeping himself warm in these un-Brazilian temperatures.
