Hopefully we’ll win comfortably and he won’t need to come on at all, if he’s rested that is, but we all know about banana skins. (Ronnie Radord against Newcastle on an f a cup mud heap is my all-time favourite). No Schade either, don’t forget.

I remember some pundits saying he wasn't worth the fee the Club paid. Some in Belgium said publicly that he was overated and that FC Brugge had pulled our pants down in massively over paying...
Well, he might just become one of the clubs finest ever acquisitions. It's a funny old game all right!

All that extra money he should get himself to a Turkish clinic over the summer and it’s can double up as prep for our European tour to Galatasaray/Fenabache. Thiago-GO

Brugge kept him while still playing in the Champions League, so obviously not overrated, I’m sure many Gooners wish their money had been spent on Thiago instead of Gyorkes😊🐝

Gyorkis was very good at holding the ball up, he backed in and took it to feet. Second half we started going over him and attacking the ball beore it bounced.

I felt sorry for him last night. He looked annoyed with himself for not winning the game. The new contract should prove to him he is in the right place and we all appreciate the hard work after a near season long injury.

I was mulling this over myself this morning, and I reckon Thiago would score even more goals playing off of Gyokeres. I thought he held the ball up really well for Arsenal.
What he isn’t though, is a number 9 which is what I think Arsenal thought they were buying.

Former Croatia defender Igor Tudor played more than 150 times for Juventus and earned 55 caps for his country.

He went into management with another former club, Hajduk Split, and had spells at Galatasaray, Udinese and Marseille before succeeding Thiago Motta as Juventus boss last March.

The 47-year-old lasted just seven months in the post before he was sacked in October, with the club eighth in Serie A following an an eight-match winless run.

Looks like a fantastic appointment............ 🤨

Yep. For most he'll just be seen as "ex-Juve" so automatically better than TF who only managed little Brentford

Great news, he's become abit of a legend already with his passion, goals and working his nuts off. With the likes of Chelsea and bayern interested though this contract might be about getting maximum value for him in the summer. I hope he's turning out for us in Europe next season

Rather depends on how much someone is prepared to pay, doesn't it?

Although signing that extension means what it will cost to sign him has just gone up about £20m.

I agree that he owes us at least one more season though.

Our model is dependent on having a replacement already through the door.

At the moment we have no replacement for Thiago. Furo may well be that person but he won’t be ready to assume that role for at least another season.

I expect that our conversations with Thiago when negotiating his new contract have included the club expectation that he won’t be sold in the next 2 transfer windows at a minimum.

It's obvious that when someone is doing as well as Thiago is,everyone will notice.Having said that people will have a miserable time of it if they read crap like Teamtalk etc.

The only frustration was that we were denied the late winner. The whole ground was coiled like a spring in anticipation of it. I keep replaying in my mind Thiago's chances and the ball that Rice just nicked away from Damsgaard. Had one of those gone in I honestly think we'd have had to rebuild the Gtech because the roof would now be in orbit.

Igor is going no where , but if he scores 20+ goals this season i can imagine a £70m bid coming in from a top four club in the summer
